When you deal with a car salesman you expect a follow up call, which I received. After the purchase I received a follow up call inquiring how we liked our car. Did not expect that. The people we interacted with, from Joe the sales manager to Ray the finance manager the service everything was exceptional. Best of the Best! Two takeaways from this review: 1) Mastro Subaru of Sanford is the best dealership of over twenty we have dealt with in Ohio and Florida, 2) Travis Ta Two takeaways from this review: 1) Mastro Subaru of Sanford is the best dealership of over twenty we have dealt with in Ohio and Florida, 2) Travis Taylor is best salesperson with whom we have ever had the pleasure of working. My wife and I are both retired and over the years we have purchased approximately a dozen new cars and almost as many used cars from dealerships in both Ohio and Florida. New cars have included most U.S. manufacturers and, since the 1980s, primarily Japanese manufacturers (Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Subaru). Most recently, we purchased our third Subaru, a 2016 Subura Legacy, and last year we purchased a new Forester -- both from Mastro Subaru of Sanford, and both with Travis Taylor as our salesperson. Our previous experience with a 2001 Forester, which still runs like a clock and which our son still drives in the mountains of Central Washington, led us to seek out a Subaru dealership, which was Mastro. And our excellent experience with Travis Taylor when buying a 2015 Forester less than a year ago, led us back to Mastro to buy the Legacy. Travis is not your typical high pressure salesman. Rather, he is the most approachable, technically knowledgeable, refreshing and enjoyable salesperson with whom we have had the pleasure to work. In addition, the surrounding cast at Mastro has been very helpful, and the service department has always been responsive to our needs. In short, when looking for a new car, check out the Subaru lineup, visit Mastro Subaru of Sanford, and ask for Travis Taylor. Jerry and Nancy More

My husband and I have been looking for this vehicle for six months and ordered online with the help of Andrea in Internet Sales and Nate Internet Sales Manager. We live in Volusia county and drove 30+ miles to Sanford because Mastro was the most responsive to us. When we picked up the car everybody was 1st rate from Andrea in Sales to Ray in Finance to Travis in Vehicle Delivery and Joe the General Manager. This Dealership has been the best experience we have ever had in our 45 years of dealing with Auto Sales. We can't thank you enough for making this experience very affordable and enjoyable. We will gladly recommend you to everyone we know. More

They answered all my questions, provided me with a printout for the vehicle I am interested in, and allowed me to test drive. They are both knowledgeable and professional. At this point Subaru is at the top of my list and I am very impressed with the employees at this dealer. When I am ready for the purchase I will return to Mastro. More
Terrible experience - will not return. Generally speaking, the staff at Mastro are very friendly. However, I'm awarding them two stars for the following reasons listed in order of increasing significance 1. At the end of a two-hour service appointment, they offered a complimentary car wash. They said it would be 15 minutes. I agreed. 40 minutes later, I'm trying to get the keys to my car. I would've declined if I had known it would have taken so long. Not a big deal. 2. I purchased a tire from them. They said it would take 2-3 days for the tire to arrive. It took 6. A slightly bigger deal. 3. After having my tire replaced, I picked up my Subaru from the dealership. I immediately noticed that my car was pulling to the right - which it was not doing prior to bringing in my car. I called them to let them know. They said they would take care of it, but it would take over an hour to fix it. As such, it made sense for me to wait a month for my 12,000 mile checkup in order to have all of the work done at the same time. However, they did not put any of this in their notes. So by the time I was having my alignment fixed during this 12,000 mile checkup, they forgot entirely about what had happened the previous month. They tried taking away the one alignment repair covered under my insurance. When I protested and reminded them about past events, a higher-up at Mastro came out and effectively tried to guilt trip me about my actions. He said that by not using this alignment repair covered by my insurance, I would be depriving his mechanic of being paid. I kept my mouth shut, and he eventually acquiesced and took care of my alignment for free (which they had agreed to originally the month prior). One of the few truly terrible customer service experiences I've had in my life. This is my first review I've written about anything. I will never go to Mastro Sanford again. More
