I tried selling it on the normal sites with very little action. I brought it over to Streetside and they wanted it. It sold for the price I asked and I couldn't believe how easy the transaction went. They did all the work. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to sell their classic car. Plus, their inventory is so awesome, I stopped by probably 20 times a month to check it out. The only dilemma that we had was it was located over 2500 miles from where we live. Having had looked at so many so-called "pristine" or great restorations, only to learn that they were far from accurate in person, we were reluctant to buy this truck sight-unseen. So, I jumped on a plane and made arrangements with Robin Lane to see the truck in person. Prior to the trip, he sent us detailed photos of areas of the truck we had specifically wanted to see. He did not candy-coat the sale, nor the condition of the truck, but depicted it accurately. It was everything he claimed, and then some. I purchased the truck while I was there, and made arrangements for it to be delivered by a carrier that specializes in classic car/truck transport. Our '51 was delivered on 7/5/18 and we couldn't be happier. The entire experience of dealing with Streetside Classics in Mesa, AZ has been a positive one, and we will certainly consider them again for the purchase (or sale) of another vehicle. They are a top-notch organization all the way! More
