Hi ChevyLee, I'm sorry to hear you had faced some challenges after you purchased your classic. Unfortunately, as a consignment dealership, we cannot give out personal contact information for our sellers without their permission and the same goes for our buyers. We respect our customers' privacy if they do not want contact with the other party and we have a responsibility to protect it. We simply facilitate the sale and relay information as it is given to us. Sellers choose to consign for many reasons, one of which is because they need help talking with buyers. Often times, the vehicle was handed down to them when a loved one passed away and they may not know much about cars in general. We do our best to get as much information from the seller as possible, but if they don't disclose certain details to us, we are unaware. That's why we highly recommend all of our customers inspect the vehicle in-person, which you did for over 2 hours while Robin pointed out the repairs needed that you said you would fix yourself. When a buyer cannot come for an in-person inspection, we highly recommend a non-biased third party inspection by a professional mechanic with extensive classic car knowledge. If and when we learn about an issue prior to a sale, we always disclose that to potential buyers. If the consignor is not able or willing to fix the issue and the buyer is no longer interested prior to any commitment, we will often ask the consignor to take the vehicle back. We don't want to sell a vehicle with major issues just as much as you don't want to buy a vehicle with major issues. It's also important to remember that you're purchasing a vintage car, not a new car. It's bound to need more love, care and money than any other vehicle. In regards to trust, we trust our buyers and sellers to be honest with us, because we are honest with them. That's the Streetside way.

The Streetside Classics Phoenix location is still fairly new, so don't feel too bad for just now finding us. We opened this location in the fall of 2017, but Streetside Classics has been in business for over 10 years. We have 5 other locations - Dallas/Forth Worth, Atlanta, Nashville, Tampa and our very first location in Charlotte, NC. Each location stays up-to-date on the current market, and you'll always find our prices are competitive, but fair. You won't find anyone else quite like Streetside Classics.
