Hello we are sorry to hear about how you feel. Kelly Blue Book is a guide and does not necessarily reflect true market conditions, which change constantly and rapidly. It is also designed to provide trade-in numbers, not retail numbers, so it would make sense that you paid more than KBB value for a vehicle at any dealership, or even privately. Depending on when you purchased your vehicle, the market could have been higher than it is now. This works both ways. Many times we sell vehicles for a low price and later the market increases, and we pay more than we sold it for upon trade in. It is the nature of the market, which we are not personally responsible for.
