The right Choice We had been looking into buying a new car all week. We visited almost every dealership in Pocatello and always left feeling overwhelmed and under appreciated. My husband went to Teton to get a check up on our old car and ran into Tim Fernandez. After a well informed conversation we decided Teton Hyundai of Pocatello was going to be the place we will purchase our car from. We went back on the following Saturday and ended up leasing not 1 but 2 cars. Tim and his team were very kind and courteous, they made sure we fully understood what we were getting into and what to expect. Tim always had our best interest in mind and gave us the best deal available. We are grateful for the kind manner were we treated and will always recommend Teton to everyone we know :) More

I think the staff were great to work with, & really tried hard to make sure we were getting taken care of. I really appreciate all the time & effort that went into getting us what we needed. They took our budget requirement & our other requests to heart. Coming in over budget was disappointing, but it was close & I feel that Tim was genuinely going to bat for us. He ultimately got us a dang good interest rate & payments we can live with. The only criticism I have is that the time we spent at the dealership (almost 8 hours) could have been used more wisely. The conversation was great & we felt welcomed the entire time. I feel like by the middle of the day they knew it was taking a long time, & we had been there for too long. So when it was all said & done they really just wanted to get us out the door. We wanted that too. I just think someone should have showed us the features of our cars during that "down time". I had no idea that the drive lights were different from the regular lights or that the A/C comes on with defrost on purpose. Also, the manual doesn't match the features I have (2015 Sonata). I drove (dangerously I might add) with the drive lights only for over a week. I was annoyed that the headlights were not brighter, & it was only by accident that I turned them to the right setting. I think that should have been discussed with me. There have been other things I have had to discover for myself as well, & I spend a lot of time trying to figure it out. I really appreciated the explanation Kelly gave us about the coverage available, but after leaving I felt unclear about whether we got what we were told we would on one of the cars. The night before we made our decision we were told we would get 1 years’ worth of oil changes. At the signing we were given a card that said it was good for the first oil change, & when I asked about the other car, I was told to just bring it in because they had it on the books that it would be fine. However, I don't remember seeing that written out anywhere except on the first paper they showed us the night before. One last funny story to tell about the experience... My husband works out of SLC, UT & is gone for about 2 weeks at a time. He was headed out that night, so when we left it was to go straight to the DMV. I had all four plates in a pile in the back seat, & took them in with us. I gave my husband his & I took mine while the woman registered the cars. I needed new stickers soon anyway, so the timing was great. After we were done, & he was ready to go, we decided to get his plates on the car. It was dark, & really cold, so it was not easy to put them on the car, but we managed & he went on his way. I decided it was too cold to put mine on right at that moment. It was much warmer the next day, & easier to get the screws out to replace the plates. I got into the back seat to grab the plate & put the new stickers on. Got the first sticker on just fine with no problems. I grab the other plate & sticker & notice the sticker has a "10" on it, not a "1" I think how dumb is it that the people at the DMV gave us the wrong sticker last year, & I didn't notice. Oh well. Wait, the van plates expire in October, OH NO! I read the plate numbers to be sure. One says F5351 the other is F5651. I got one of his plates & one of mine! It just so happened that when they stacked the plates it went my plate, his plate, his plate, my plate & I assumed that it was stacked two together. That is when the panic hit. My husband drove to UT with two different plates on his car! I don't even think anyone would really notice because the numbers for the plates are so similar. & It USED to be cool. So for now, I am driving around with one plate on the back of my car, one in the glove box, & the correct one in UT. Overall this was a great experience and we will certainly be back as needed. I definitely recommend Teton Hyundai if you're in the market First thing when we arrived at this dealership, all of the cars were unlocked which I personally prefer. I want to look inside and not have to have someone watching over my shoulder the whole time. We were there and looked inside a few different cars before our salesman came outside. That was also very nice to be able to just look and kinda get a feel for the different makes and models because I had an idea of what I wanted but still wanted to look at the different styles. The entire experience was great from the test drives to the financing. I definitely recommend this dealership to anyone that's in the market for a new car. And I am absolutely loving my new Hyundai Sonata! More
