The experience that I had at this dealer was world class. I was in the market of purchasing a car due to having a new baby and needing a more roomier car to fit my family in. At that time my family and I had a 1998 Toyota Corolla. Needless to say, with two teenagers and a new baby with a car seat the back seat was very tight. I started my search at Nissan in Union City because a co worker of mine recommended it and had a horrible experience. My sales rep was awful and made me feel like he just wanted to sale me a car- any car-and did not take into consideration what my family needed and what my budget was. I have always loved Jettas and rented them numerous times for family trips home to Chicago. Due to my budget I never thought that I would actually be able to purchase one. So after the awful experience at Nissan Union City, my significant other suggested we atleast go and look at the Jetta. I went in with my hopes low and with the intentions of just looking. Phillip greeted us at the door and proceeded to give me the best experience that I have had at a delaership thus far. He took us over to the Jettas and gave us a test drive and told me so much information about the Jetta that I felt his passion for the car. He made me fall more in love with this vehicle than I was before I came in. He then took us in to talk numbers and I remember thinking oh God here we go again. Phillip made me feel like he wanted what was best for me and my family and not like he just wanted to make a sale. He asked what our budget was and proceeded to work his magic. I walked out of Volkswagon with a brand new Jetta that evening. I would recommend that if you go to visit this dealership ask for Phillip and let him work his magic for you. My experience was so great that when I received a letter in the mail thanking us for our business, I sent a message to let them know about my wonderful experience with Phillip. I walk away from this experience singing my praises of Stone Mountain Volkswagon and my experience with Phillip. More
I purchased a new 2013 Touareg diesel from Stone Mountain VW and had a nice sales experience. Everyone was friendly, reasonable pricing, and only a moderate sales pressure. Unfortunately the experience has been downhill since driving off the lot. First issue, Stone Mountain VW did not check the tire pressure as before delivery which made for a scary ride the first time it rained. VW recommends that the tires have 33 psi in the front and 39 psi in the rear. Unfortunately tire pressure was 58 to 60 psi. The second experience was 10K mile service. Part of the VW 10K service is an oil change and topping off the fluids. Dropped off the vehicle, dealership provided a loaner, picked it up the next day, and drove home. Upon starting the vehicle later in the day, I received a low AdBlue indicator. I called the dealership, dropped off the vehicle again. Upon picking it up the Service Manager explained that the AdBlue system has been pressure tested and no issues found. When asked if this staff forgot to fill up the system, he unapologetically replied yes. A few days later I used the windshield washers and immediate received a “low” indictor. I had to stop by the local auto parts store and add 1 gallon of washer fluid. At ~16K miles received AdBlue indictor again so back to Stone Mountain VW. Turns out that Stone Mountain VW did not actually fill up the AdBlue system previously. It filled it just enough to make the indicator light go out. During last week’s 20K service advisor Rose commented that this time the dealership was going to do everything perfectly given my last survey score. The dealership provided a loaner and I picked up my vehicle the next day. On the drive home the car did not handle well so checked the tire pressure indicators and found 46 psi in all four tires (42 psi cold). Checked the oil indicator and it showed a “Please reduce oil level”. My experiences above are over a ~8 month period. Not one single time has the service department performed service work correctly on the first visit. Based on my experience I would not recommend Stone Mountain VW to anyone for anything. If you had your car serviced by them, I would highly recommend checking the indicators and fluids levels. More

We went into the dealership with a car that was not repairable and could not pass emissions. We had tried to repair the car and it was not successful. My credit was not the best as we where in the mi repairable and could not pass emissions. We had tried to repair the car and it was not successful. My credit was not the best as we where in the mist of clearing up some bad credit we had due to medical issues. The plan was to hold on for 2 more years to get cleared up credit reports and pay off some bills. Unfortunately this was not to be. Joseph Park and Volkswagen dealership went above and beyond to help us to get into a new car. The worked out a deal with a payment that we could live with. Joseph treated us with respect and kindness. He listen to our situation and went above and beyond to help us get a deal. When other dealers would not work with us due to slow credit Volkswagen of Stone Mountain worked with our down payment and setting up a deal we could manage. I would recommend this dealership and Joseph Park highly. Please stop by and ask for Joseph when you go. Bless you all. More
I contacted this dealership via email first, Phillip called me up and I explained what I wanted. Phillip located the car I wanted, set up the appointment and I came down. Phillip took the time to answer questions after the sale, paired my phone to the car for me and made sure I knew how to work everything. The next day Phillip called to check on the status of my car and how I was enjoying it. If I had a business that needed a sales person, I would be recruiting Phillip. Thank you Phillip. He was friendly and very patient and not pushy, while I test drove the different models. We discussed how I was going to use the car, was it the primary car, for running around, short trips or as a commuter. With a little more discussion some advice I got the Jetta and have been enjoying the ride ever since. It's fun to drive, tight and quick, well built with comfortable seats. It may not be as big as our other car but feels as heavy, having that "solid European car" feel. Now I understand that phrase. I got one all most all the "bells and whistles" and having checked the web and all before I went to the showroom, feel I got the car for a good price. Over all I'm happy with the experience. Every one I met was fairly laid back, friendlyand not in your face or following you around. We know you're watching but at least here I didn't feel "stocked". I had just come from an other dealer ,different manufacturer, were I was followed then when I started asking questions I ended up with two reps, I guess it was the "good rep bad rep" thing. Too bad because with the "omni present internet" people already have a good idea of what they want and only need a little gentle guidance, not a full court press, to make the purchase. And yes I think I would recommend this dealer ship to others. More
