I submitted an inquiry on a specific vehicle on 7/26/2020 at 10am and got a response from Carlos Miranda at 10:50 am, which is before the dealership opened. He asked me to give him the exact offer I wanted. He then spoke with his managers, quickly called me back, and said we had a deal! We set a time for me to come in that afternoon, and I was finished with everything at the dealership in about two hours. Thanks to Carlos, Kurt (Finance Manager), and the other managers for making the process easy, efficient, and highly professional! This is by far the easiest buying process I’ve ever had out of the 40+ vehicles (5th VW product) I’ve purchased in the past 13 years. Over the prior week, we had dealt with three other dealers whose business practices were questionable, to say the least: low-mileage cars advertised on dealer websites with incredible prices but which were either a) not actually on the lot (in 2 cases), b) not of the mileage advertised (off by tens of thousands of miles in 2 cases), or c) not actually offered for the advertised price unless we agreed to finance the vehicle. It was a sad commentary on prevailing business practices. We gave Stone Mountain VW a chance because 1) they had a great car advertised for a great price, and 2) their website noted the pride that they took in delivering excellent customer service. They did not disappoint. Our salesperson, Carlos, was exceptionally professional and genuine. He spoke authoritatively about his product, treated us with utmost respect, and played no ridiculous car salesman games. He let the car - a VW certified Passat in absolutely beautiful shape - sell itself. There were no unpleasant surprises when it came to the bottom line. None. Everything from start to finish was professional, completely transparent, and straightforward. Thank you, Carlos, and thank you Stone Mountain VW, for restoring our faith in the car business!
