He is a knowledgeable, professional, honest, and polite salesman. We really enjoyed working with him over the course of a week. He quickly set us up with cars to test drive one weekend and clearly answered all of our questions. When it came to pricing negotiations, we were able to rather painlessly settle on a price that we thought was fair. His managers seemed good and responsive. He was awesome in staying late with us to go over the details of understanding our new car and how to make all of the electronics, etc., work. Misha in financing was knowledgeable and fun to work with and efficient. Overall, I liked how professional and honest the whole establishment seemed to us. Never felt like we were being hustled as can often be the situation in other car dealerships. Truly the best experience we ever had at a car dealership. More

Al is extremely knowledgable about all of the vehicles and didn't try to push any additional features on us that we didn't want. We weren't in love with any of the cars on the lot and the rest of the inventory in the general vicinity had features that we didn't want. Al worked with us to order a new vehicle from the factory in Japan and kept us updated as the vehicle was built as well as throughout the shipping process. While Al's knowledge and attention to detail was outstanding, the thing that sets him apart from other sales people that I've worked with in the past is his willingness to be an advocate for his customers. Example: We were interested in trading in/selling our old Subaru back to Stohlman. After telling us how much the pre-owned department was willing to give us for the trade-in, Al encouraged us to get a second quote from CarMax and other places noting that we would likely be able to get a better offer. We went to CarMax the following weekend and, sure enough, they offered us a better price. Al could have easily encouraged us to sell our old car to Stohlman but instead he gave us some candid advice that payed off. I highly recommend Al to anyone who is in the market for a Subaru. More

He was friendly and personable and listened to what I wanted. Al found the exact car in the pipeline for which I was looking. Although there was a wait of a couple of weeks because I wanted the soon-to-be-available manual transmission Impreza Sport; Al was responsive to my questions and kept me in the loop during the process. Working with Al to acquire my 2017 Impreza was smooth and hassle free. I can say the same for David Jennings, who processed my purchase transaction. He rode with us during the test drive and was very patient as both my husband and I did test drive the car and try all the amazing tech features. even testing the slow down of the car during adaptive cruise control. Excellent dealership, super, no-pressure staff Decided to give you another try. Initially because the specific vehicle in the specific model in an automatic, resided on their lot. I checked in advance and was told it was there and waiting to be driven. When I arrived, Tom Ryan assisted me as Paul Turk, whom I had chatted with earlier, was with other customers. Tom had already been made aware that I would be in. He grabbed a copy of my license and off we went. Before starting the test drive, I had a few questions since I had already tested the GTI SE a week before at a different dealership. He answered them and off we went. Took his standard route as we took our test drive on a Friday afternoon in traffic. I was still able to get the car up to speed and test the DCC, which was the most important feature for me to verify. We spent about 20 minutes test driving and another 45 minutes discussing the car, its features and other questions I had about the car, dealership and other generic questions. It helped that he owns a GTI and has owned a TDI in the past. Tom was very thorough and appreciated both his knowledge and personal information from his VW cars. Tom introduced me to Jaime Dent, the general sales manager. Jaime and I had corresponded two years ago just after I purchased my Jetta TDI from a different local dealership. It was nice to put a name with a face. She made me feel welcome and was happy I had stopped by. A few weeks ago I was really angry at this dealership when I came to test drive cars and they were closed on the first Sunday of the year. I wanted to test drive this car and that is one reason why I came back. I would recommend to the dealership to be more aware of when they close for a day to put a sign on the door. Express the reason you are closed and if necessary, lie as to why you are closed. You got me to come back because of a particular vehicle, but you won't necessarily get back the others who had to come a distance to get here. Personally, give this dealership a try. I went to another VW dealership last weekend, in fact the one where I purchased my Jetta TDI and where I have all of my service done. I wasn't treated as I should have been and gave Stohlman's a try. They have certainly won me over as a dealership. More
Customer loyalty is no accident, it's cultivated regularly I leased my first car from Javan back in 2013 and subsequently had two trade-ins since then and I haven't looked back or considered another rep since. Javan is someone who takes time with you and makes you priority (and you feel that way), he isn't trying to push a quota or a "big sale" and instead listens to what you want and makes recommendations from there; you can tell he's an advocate for the customer--which is key--and that's his focus. Now, I'm a creature of convenience and there's a VW dealer about two minutes from my house, but because of the top-notch customer service and the one-on-one care and attention I receive, I make the 30 minute drive because they've earned my loyalty and I like how I'm treated when I'm there and that I'm checked in on between appointments. Whether it's Mike Parelli fitting me in for a service appointment at the last minute or Javan Jackson taking my call at 10 PM at night a few days before Christmas because my car was stolen, the team at Stohlman automotive go above and beyond the call of duty 24/7. I encourage you stop in for a visit and you'll see what I'm talking about. You'll be a "lifer." and trust me, you won't be disappointed. More
