Oil change and much more-overwhelmed!! This was my first service appointment since I bought my Volvo convertible in June and the staff was exceptional! My car was taken on time and done in 40 minutes-washed and service completed. I submitted a $10 coupon for my oil change and Paul was happy to deduct it, even after the invoice was processed. Just as impressive were the other members of the service team, who explained to a customer that his service may take a bit longer than he had anticipated, and immediately offered a ride home. Within 15 seconds, another member of the service team asked the customer if he was ready to go. I am in the financial services industry and in my business, an exceptional client experience in each interaction is expected and, hopefully, delivered. I genuinely believe this experience may have been the best exhibit of teamwork and responsiveness I have have observed as a consumer ! Give all those gentlemen a raise!! More

Denise McElhiney and Brad Stillman showed such kindness and compassion in helping me with my purchase and trade in. A special circumstance resulted involving my trade in, and they did everything possible to help me in my change of plan. Denise provided exceptional service, and has gone above and beyond every step of the way. I felt extremely comfortable working with her, and no question went unanswered. Due to my circumstances, she was willing to help in any way she could. I would not buy a Volvo anywhere else, even though I must travel from Dover DE. And will recommend Stillman to anyone wanting to purchase a new or used Volvo. More

Rather than put more money into it, I went to sales to see what I could do. I was not in a financial position to buy a new car. I was directed to Denise McElhiney purely by chance. It turned out to be a golden opportunity. Denise was knowledgable, professional and treated me as well as if I were buying a new car. She was able to meet my payment request with a wonderful 2010 XC with 1 and 1/5 year warranty. I can't tell you how much I appreciate the wonderful service I received. I have never had a bad experience in the last 18 years. There are exceptional accommodations for those waiting for their cars. I especially like the cubicles that offer free WiFi and privacy to get work done while sipping on your favorite Keurig beverage from the hospitality counter. My experience has always been positive and exceptional at Stillman. They explain things to my complete satisfaction and I feel my car is well loved and taken care of by them, especially by Jerry, the mechanic who often works on my car. When Pearl (my 1996 850 sedan) is ready to retire, which will not be for a very long time, my next car will definitely be purchased at Stillman. I love this dealership! More

I have gotten very fast, same day repairs, very reasonably priced for high quality dealer service. Whether I'm buying parts and doing my own minor repairs or have dealer level maintenance, I get treated like a VIP! I love this dealership! For all the bad raps new car dealers get, I recommend you try Stillman for any Volvo needs. You'll forget all your bad past experiences and leave happy your car was fixed right and you were treated right! More
Tale of two Volvos I pass Stillman Volvo everyday going to work I would see many attractive vehicles out on the lot wondering if any had my name on it. My wife and I I pass Stillman Volvo everyday going to work I would see many attractive vehicles out on the lot wondering if any had my name on it. My wife and I went to Stillman’s to ‘talk’ about Volvos. We met John Kennell who showed us several models. We were not familiar with the sizes and all the styles. John was very patient and professional. He answered my questions with clarity. You could tell he liked his products. My wife returned with her parents since it was important to have sufficient comfort and room for them and their walkers. They, as well as I were sold on the XC70. Not too big, not too small just right. John arranged a test drive and we were very happy with the ride, quietness of the cabin and all the features of the wagon. Our XC70 was delivered, prepped and inspected. John was prepared, had all the paper work in a binder to minimize any delays. We signed on the dotted lines and the XC70 was ours. John went over the functionality of the Volvo and programed our cell phones for hands free operation. We drove away very satisfied with the purchase. Part II Less than 1 week later my commuter vehicle started acting up and I needed a replacement. I had done much internet research on a replacement. I needed a smaller vehicle with good mileage and all wheel drive. As I reviewed additional vehicles I found myself leaning toward the S60. I called John up for a test ride. John’s continued professionalism and good customer rapport helped me make the deal Two Volvos in the driveway was not planned but my wife and I are pleased with the purchases from Stillman’s Volvo. Do not purchase a used car from here! The car was sold to me as a well maintained vehicle - but as I found out after purchasing it - it was not. The condition was miss-represented before the sale. 1. The door dings promised in the sales rep. original e-mail would be fixed - never were. 2. The rear breaks were claimed to have 1/2 life left but barely legal when I had the car inspected (almost failed inspection but was given a break). 3. The tires have only 1/2 life left not the 3/4 I was told. 4. The car was sold as having the original v70R owners manual but there was none and it was not provided. 5. The wheels were supposed to be in good condition but I encountered quite a bit of vibration when driving it home from Pa. - had the balance checked on the wheels - My shop uses a Hunter Road Force Balancer - 3 of the four wheels were so bad they could not balance them - new wheels needed. How a person who maintains their car well could drive with these wheels - I think I was lied to. 6. When they replaced some of the front strut parts they did not replace the rubber bellows and associated parts as they are now just hanging down - not protecting anything. 7. There is a wet spot on the front "bevel" box. 8. The radio sometimes has a hard time holding a station. I found several other things broken that a person who well maintains a car or a dealership that cares about a car they sell would not have allowed. And I probably have not found everything yet. 1. Gas door. 2. Windshield wiper. This looks like a dealership that looks good from the outside but look underneath and there are some serious problems. All show and no go. I would have been better off purchasing a car from a dealer/person who actually maintained their car. More
