I had a service appointment at 11:00 am and showed up 10 mins early. I waited in my vehicle for almost 15 mins before someone came up to help. He was very friendly and brought me back to his desk. First, he had tobacco stuffed in his lip and a spit can on his desk when helping me. Next, he starts to tell me about a deal for $165.00 for three oil changes, with inspection and tire rotation. Then advises me that my 4runner needs front and rear differential fluid changes every 30k, this is only required with heavy towing and I don't tow. I declined the differential service. Second, he mentions that Toyota recommends oil changes every 5k, and I told him I thought this was every 10k. He then backtracks and say well some people like to do it sooner. He then is very polite and directs me to the seating error. I then sit there for almost 3 hours before I receive a message about my service. First, it suggests I change the air filter for 40+ dollars for a 30-dollar part. Next, it's charging me 60 dollars for an oil change, 165 dollars for the 3 oil change plan, and a 14-dollar shop fee. At this point, I'm pissed for sitting for 3 hours for an oil change, the attempted upsells on unnecessary maintenance and inflated parts prices. I tell him to remove the care plan and just charge me for labor, oil and shop fee. I pay the 113 for the service and then come out to my 4runner to find my seat cover in plastic and an oily service mat on the floor. In the end, the total was 113 dollars for a 3 hour oil change and tire rotation. If you want subpar service while being politely upsold for overpriced parts that take half a day this is the service center for you. More
I purchased a 2018 Ram 3500 Dually. I went to multiple places but was unable to get it tested as the current wheel and tire setup (the way I purchased it) was too wide. I’ve been to the dealership multiple times and they refuse to help or come up with a solution to help me get the emissions that they are required to provide in the first place. It’s now been 5 months since I purchased it and I have been unable to drive it as I can’t get it plated or another temp tag. More
