Upon closer Update: The car completely died and could only enter the car with the emergency key. Roadside assistance showed up and jump the car. Upon closer examination, he informed me the battery was dry and needed water. WAIT: This is supposedly a brand new battery and it needs water? Did anyone check the battery before installing it or perhaps it was still the original and no one checked the condition!!??? We have been buying cars for more than fifty years and understand that things do and can happen. Like anything else, it is the way you handle and resolve the issue that becomes more important than the issue itself. We have had multiple issues with the vehicle which can be attributed to the design of the vehicle and not the vehicle itself This being our fourth Mazda perhaps our expectations were set too high. In addition to the review, we published below, we raise an additional question about the battery replacement. Regardless of the make or model when the power is lost, all vehicle settings are lost. When received the car back from the dealership our phones hooked up immediately and no settings were lost? Mazda could make the best cars in the world, but without local support, all is lost. Battery died twice on a brand new car with less than 10,000 miles on the odo.. No sweat this can happen to any vehicle. Contacted service manager and requested battery replacement. No reply. The car developed an almost violent jerking motion when stopped, in drive, and foot on the brake. Contacted Mazda and reported issues. Soon after Wilmington contacted me. The car was bought back to service and the battery was replaced. Here is the good part. The service writer informs me that we don't drive the car enough ( I guess 1000 +/- miles a month is not sufficient for Mazda) and we should use a battery tender. AND if we leave the car idle for 5 days we should use a battery tender. (We don't live in Alaska) Interpretation. Mazda uses battery's that are sub-par or they never replaced the battery. Now i no longer wonder why the vehicle's dashcam was disconnected by the dealership. More
During our time spent with Reggie, either in person or on the phone, we found him to be very personable, conscientious honest and knowledgeable. I came in early for my appointment because I didn’t have a key for my car and the tow guy let me ride with him there and instead of making me wait almost 5 hours til my appointment time, they were so kind t a key for my car and the tow guy let me ride with him there and instead of making me wait almost 5 hours til my appointment time, they were so kind to accommodate me and pushed my service up so they can work on it sooner. Before that, they even offered me a ride home just so I wouldn’t have to wait there so long. Great customer service. More
These guys were amazing and Nabil in particular was awesome. He was super helpful, and had a great personality. He told me they could work with me and I got a great deal on my F150! He never once felt awesome. He was super helpful, and had a great personality. He told me they could work with me and I got a great deal on my F150! He never once felt "pushy", was super polite and he put in the extra work to make sure he brought me a truck that sold itself and even went as far as to bring it in from another dealership. I never thought I could get a truck this nice, but he definitely made it happen and kept me right at my budget. Overall it was a great experience and I'm glad I gave my business to people who seem like genuinely good people and went went above and beyond in both making the transaction easy, and making sure I got the perfect vehicle for what my specific needs were. I would also like to give credit to Logan, who was clearly a great business man and very professional. I very much appreciate everyone at Stevenson-Hendrick Mazda. They made it happen. More
