BEWARE! Stevens Ford is full of a bunch of CROOKS! Stay away, stay far away! Their service department sucks, they had my car for 9 days with no resolution. Full Disclosure, I purchased a 2016 Ford explorer brand new from Colonial Ford in Danbury CT because Stevens Ford Didnt have the car I wanted. I brought my car to Stevens Ford and purchased an extended warranty for $3,000 plus dollars. I brought my ford to Stevens for every single required/suggested maintenance from Zero Miles until my current 64k miles. I was getting some noise out of my front end and my high temp sensor was going off so I brought the car in. It turn out I need a water pump, shock seals, struts, engine mounts, control arms ext. They quoted me somewhere around 4k dollars for the repairs. Why am I so mad and angry and believe this dealer is full of a bunch of crooks? Because my car was in at 59,700 miles and was given the all clear, everything is fine. Now fast forward to now, 64k miles. 4k Miles outside of my powertrain warranty. This dealership told me my car was perfect when it was in there for a 700$ 60k mile service, then BAM as soon as its outside of the warranty they tell me about 4k dollars worth of parts that need to be repaird and my factory warranty expired at 60k and the extended warranty that I purchased covered none of the repairs. It is in my belief that the dealer knew exactly what was wrong with my car and they intentionally gave it back to me knowing that it would break outside the warranty period and they would make more money on my service. DO NOT DEAL WITH STEVENS FORD, DO NOT DEAL WITH FORD IN GENERAL, FORD CORPORATE WAS NO HELP AND TOOK OVER 9 DAYS FOR THEM TO CONTACT ME BACK WITH A RESOLUTION. BY THIS TIME I DECIDED TO DECLINE ALL OF THEIR HELP AND I WILL BE TRADING IN THIS xxx EXPLORER AND NEVER PURCHASING ANOTHER FORD AGAIN IN MY LIFETIME. IF YOU USE STEVENS FORD AND YOU GOT SCREWED OVER, DONT SAY I DIDNT WARN YOU. More
Stevens Ford is and always has been the best Ford dealership I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing business with! Thank you Kim and Anthony in service for accommodating my father. They did what other service centers couldn’t and went above and beyond to ensure that his car would be fixed the right way the first time. I think it’s important that anyone reading these reviews knows that these are people you can trust wholeheartedly and no that they care about their customers well-being. Are there other service stations out there that may be cheaper sure but you get what you pay for . They may not always be the cheapest but they’re by far not the most expensive. Finally a special thanks to Mike Healey and and David Stevens for everything he has done for me and my family ! More
My used vehicle I purchased from them had an oil leak 1 week after the warranty expired. Then they made an appointment with me a week later making it two weeks and wouldn’t cover the $300 fix. They couldn’t even fix it themselves and said they would have to send it to Toyota. The mechanics are incompetent and no help and the staff was rude with their phone calls. I would not recommend them at all for new or used. The manager was disrespectful and rude as well. Go elsewhere and if you want a ford leave the area to find better service More

Horrible service - BAIT & SWITCH I have a vehicle under warranty that was brought in for service. I was told the diagnosis would be free. Upon diagnosis I was given a price of $300 I have a vehicle under warranty that was brought in for service. I was told the diagnosis would be free. Upon diagnosis I was given a price of $300 to take steps necessary and told it would be $68 at MOST for them to include the part that was necessary. They did NOT approval for this work, but proceeded anyway. Even after all that - they were still not done trying to rob me. They then decided that they were wrong about original costs and came back to say it would require over $700 to fix the vehicle. I was given a price from a local service provider for $200 for the same exact repairs - so I decided to go elsewhere. I declined ALL repairs and they told me that was "too bad" Unless I paid them over $300 they would NOT release my vehicle and had the gall to tell me that "at that point, you might was well keep it w/ us for the extra couple hundred dollars because you will be waiting on it all week otherwise". This dealer is dishonest and unethical and should be avoided if possible. More

It has in the pass lost my appointments, fail to order the correct tire. And today I had a 0730 appointment it took 4 hours and they had done a multi inspection. I had to take my care back without service. The service tech Arnold which has horrible customer service skill. The kind of person who send his career in the shop and doesn't know how to deal with normal people. He made a horrible experience even worse!!! Finally learned my lesson, I will never do business with Stevens Ford in any capacity! Any will make sure that everyone I know will know of the terrible service! More
From beginning to end the experience was fantastic! My '08 Ford Explorer's computer was in trouble - giving me messages that "we're off the chart," and stalling the car in "stop and go" traffic. I figured I needed an authorized dealer to get this repaired. Justin in the service department kept me informed about the diagnostics and ordered the new computer with my approval. It took 8 days to get the car back (a long weekend ensued) but it was worth the wait. Justin and the staff were knowledgeable, courteous and always professional. I rate them exceptional! More

service for airbag recall Took my 06 Ranger in for factory recall for bad airbags (2 recalls.. 1 for each airbag).When I got the vehicle back the panel on the dashboard coverin Took my 06 Ranger in for factory recall for bad airbags (2 recalls.. 1 for each airbag).When I got the vehicle back the panel on the dashboard covering the passenger side airbag was loose and mis-shapen. looked like crap.. not as it was from the factory. I questioned this and was told to bring it back to fix it. The repair SHOULD have been done correctly the first time. I had to take time to return to the dealer, 45 min. travel in each direction to get it fixed, which was done quickly. I should NOT have had to bring it back if the work was done correctly the first time. I don't think the mechanic that did the recall has any pride of workmanship.. if he did this could have been avoided. On a good note, the service manager was very accommodating and apologetic. Pleasant, too! More
