A great car buying experience was ruined when I dared to ask if I can get a cash rebate. Michael Ng, Sales Director, in my opinion doesn't have any people skills. He rushed by but didn't spend more than 2 m ask if I can get a cash rebate. Michael Ng, Sales Director, in my opinion doesn't have any people skills. He rushed by but didn't spend more than 2 minutes with me rudely telling me there is no cash rebate and walked away. Is it too much to ask from a Sales Director to spend some time with a cash paying customer to explain whether or not a cash rebate is offered which is common in the industry, or explain why a cash rebate might not be available for a specific deal. It's definitely not a good sign if a person like Michael Ng works as a Sales Director giving Sales Managers and Salespersons a really bad example. A car buying experience should be fun, the customer always treated with respect. I can only hope that Courtesy Chevy will take corrective actions and not just leave it at the usual apology call from Robert Yan, General Sales Manager. Michael Ng should not be talking to customers at all if he doesn't understand how they should be treated in the first place. He is in the wrong business. More
Normally purchasing a car can be a long and stressful experience dealing with pushy sales people trying to sell you things that you don't need or want. This was definitely not the case with Courtesy Chev experience dealing with pushy sales people trying to sell you things that you don't need or want. This was definitely not the case with Courtesy Chevrolet! I started my journey by contacting Jessica the internet sales manager about my interest in buying a new Chevy Volt. I wanted a car that had great mileage for my daily commute since my 2008 Prius was totaled in an accident. Jessica was quite professional and friendly via email! and did not pressure me at all. She invited me down for a test drive and when I arrived was welcomed warmly with a tour of the dealership and was offered something to eat at the world famous Corvette café. During our test drive her and her associate Anthony were most helpfully explaining the different features of the Volt. When we returned to the showroom they provided a detailed lease quote and their GM Troy was kind enough to work with us in providing a great deal! When I decided to go with the Volt and returned to finish the paperwork, it was a smooth and no pressure situation. Jessica walked us through all the paperwork and options clearly and concisely and went out of her way to make sure our car was detailed and treated us to lunch to boot. Highly recommended! More
Came here looking for a new car to purchase - 2014 Chevrolet Impala to be more precise. Salesman approaches, introduces himself and tries to sell a USED car. I was clear in terms of what I wanted - a Chevrolet Impala to be more precise. Salesman approaches, introduces himself and tries to sell a USED car. I was clear in terms of what I wanted - a new Impala. Seats me in a used Impala that was previously driven by his manager (as of what I was told). Although it was a used car, I asked him if I can get the keys as I was interested in the car... Took alot of effort to get the key. Finally, he gets the key and he says I can show you the interior. I asked I was more interested in TEST DRIVING. He said he will need for me to start a credit application first before we can go on a test drive... VERY DISAPPOINTING. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. NEVER NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN. I am being very nice by not stating this salesman name. More

I gave it 42 Days since Purchase for Tony Signorelli in internet sales, Troy in customer service, and General Motors to right the wrong before I wrote this review. I purchased a 2011 Camaro from this de internet sales, Troy in customer service, and General Motors to right the wrong before I wrote this review. I purchased a 2011 Camaro from this dealer, and I live in San Diego. Took an early flight to retrieve the car so I could drive home to San Diego that very same day. Upon arriving, my car was being worked on for a malfunctioning BCM, it’s the unit which measures and tracks information regarding your vehicle. In this case mine was not reading tire pressure correctly. After a couple of attempts to replace the sensor in the wheel, they deemed it safe to drive and I was cut loose after 3 hours, with a warning light permanently on and a misreading tire pressure status. I was sent with a PAC# or Case# have you, that showed the mechanics attempts to fix it, and thus recommend a replacement BCM. After a couple of days of no phone calls from either Tony or anyone from this dealer I had to call them. Typical for a out of town customer, I felt like since I was off their lot then I was not their problem and that’s how I have been treated every since. From not receiving a single sheet of paperwork since purchase until 33 days after purchase, having to request a copy of my extended warranty paperwork, and then to top it off get a call from Troy in customer service asking me how did I enjoy my purchase? It was a cold call, without any awareness of the issue on Troy’s part. after I explained it to Troy he hinted at an offer to take care of my first car payment. When I called Troy back a week later to inquire about any progress with a GM rep regarding the acquisition of my part I had to re iterate the entire story as if we had first spoken, this time no offer to take care of anything. Another phone call with Tony, “when writing your review remember its out of our hands, its in GM’s court now” will do. Another phone call with Troy, “GM says the part isn’t available yet”, yet as we speak they are putting it in new 2011 camaro’s right now… Hmmm Now we are approaching the one month mark, phone calls from Courtesy Chevrolet have ceased entirely. Customer service is dead. I get a phone call every week from a General Motors representative and it’s the same exact call every week, “I’m sorry Mr Rocklage, but at this time I am unable to obtain any further information regarding the part for your vehicle, and I will be in contact with you again next week.” She says this every time she calls, and I’ve gotten 5 phone calls so far. Still waiting… In closing I am extremely disappointed in their customer service, there was no hustle, no going out of their way to contact me, their follow through was half xxx and lack luster. Learn from this experience, while it might be great at the first handshake but once you leave the lot, consider yourself a forgotten sucker. More
