I took my Volt 2016 in Monday morning because of lost propulsion while driving. The service advisor promised within 48 hours, but it shouldn't require the customer to keep chasing the service advisor fo propulsion while driving. The service advisor promised within 48 hours, but it shouldn't require the customer to keep chasing the service advisor for answers. After more than 48 hours, no amount of text or voice mail result in any kind of response. I had to call the main switch board to get a response from my service advisor. After being notified results at closing time Wednesday afternoon, I've decided to just accept and pay for the diagnostics. I notified my service advisor that I'll be picking up the car Thursday, which was acknowledged. When I got there Thursday afternoon, my service advisor was nowhere to be found. Another kind advisor made an attempt to help me but got the wrong paperwork. It was the same car, same year, similar diagnostic but wasn't me. Good thing I caught it. The kind advisor had to text my assigned advisor, telling him that her customer is here to pick up the car. I wanted some more and still no advisor. The supervisor there took notice and asked me if I was helped. I told him that I was waiting for my service advisor. He said the advisor should be in his booth; turns out that he did eventually return to his office but never bother to come out and check on his customer. After paying for the service, he did call someone to get my vehicle. More waiting of course and no car was retrieved. I looked around and saw my car parked among other cars. I went and got the advisor, telling him that my car is right there. He went into the shop in an attempt to find my keys. A few minutes later, he returns with no key and told me that the key should be in the car! When we walked over, sure enough, the keys were in the car. When I brought my car in, only 1 TPS were out. When they returned the car back to me, the remaining 3 were out as well. Not acceptable! I am deeply disappointed with Stevens Creek Chevrolet because they were good years before COVID. Now, the service advisor really doesn't care, poor storage of keys, and left my car in worst condition than before. On top of that, I'm extremely disappointed with the quality of my Chevy Volt. I really love my car, but the reliability of my Chevy and the quality of this dealership have seed doubt. I would never return to Stevens Creek Chevy or buy another GM vehicle again because I felt like GM don't care about their customers. More

A little after the 1.5 hr mark, I went to see the service representative who told me he had to check the status of my car... he came back telling me it would be another 30 minutes (which I understood as they had not even started working on my car yet!). I came back about 45 minutes after that and could not find him. When I came back at the 3hr mark, and found him, he still did not know if my car was done! I wish there was another dealer closer to me because I would switch in a heartbeat! More
When I called the service department of the Stevens Creek Chevrolet dealership, I got an appointment for an oil change the very next day. That's great. Even though I forget to mention in the call that I just Chevrolet dealership, I got an appointment for an oil change the very next day. That's great. Even though I forget to mention in the call that I just want to wait in the waiting room till my car is ready (~2 hours), I ask there if I just could wait even if it takes 2.5-3 hours (I brought my laptop to work there). It was okay, I got my car after back after about 2 hours (I did not even finish the work I planned to do on my laptop). Overall - Great experience. More

this dealership has no after hours key drop box. Are they still living in the 1980's where a stay at home spouse could make a car drop off during working hours? This was very inconvenient for me. Ev Are they still living in the 1980's where a stay at home spouse could make a car drop off during working hours? This was very inconvenient for me. Even still I was able to drop my van off within 3 minutes of closing time....even spoke with someone about my prearranged service time and where to park the van. My servicer appointment was Friday at 8:20am the next day. I didn't get a service repair description and quote until Monday, at 11:30am. The delay reminded me of a Seinfeld episode when the airport rent a car company took his reservation but in the end rented the car to some one else. This dealership estimate was nearly 2 times hire than what I found in a local mechanic shop. I arranged to have the van towed. I spoke on the phone with the service rep at the dealership informing her of my plans to tow the van but would not be there to conduct any necessary paperwork. She was OK with that but neglected to inform me of my final bill and give instructions for payment. Her negligence resulted in the tow truck driver being delayed once he got there and they would not release the van without payment. The tower ended up paying my dealership bill to move the process along. Needless to say I was embarrassed about the imposition on the tow truck driver. Its like this dealership opperates as if in the 1980s but the service manager on the phone still didn't even know how to finish up with a customer in a seamless manner. Ironically, one aspect of her service that was more like 2020 was her request at the end of every phone call asking me if I was satisfied with the results of the phone conversation. More
