I had a bad fuel pump on my 2007 328i which was out of regular warranty. My local mechanic called this dealership and asked if the SULEV warranty would cover it. The service manager to whom he spoke (we n regular warranty. My local mechanic called this dealership and asked if the SULEV warranty would cover it. The service manager to whom he spoke (we never got a name) said 'yes, it will be covered.' Well, I take it in, and apparently they were wrong. It was definitely NOT under warranty. I live in Santa Cruz, so it's a huge hassle to get it over there but I figured that since it was under warranty, it'd be OK. WRONG!! They charged me $1000 for the service which my local guy could have done for $500. Plus, I had to pay for the tow based on their lying information. They didn't replace a clip properly, so the next day when I went out to my car it was leaking gas all over the pavement. I was afraid to drive it. I had it towed over there AGAIN and they fixed it with no offer to pay for the tow based on a problem caused by their shoddy work. Three months later, the fuel pump died. I took it back and they tried to charge me again. I voiced my displeasure to the manager, Kevin, and he laughed at me and hung up on me. I should have sued the xxxx out of them the first time but I didn't. Well, that all changes now. If you value your car, your time and your dignity, NEVER EVER take your car to these xxxxxx morons. You've been warned! More
Absolutely the worst experience, RUN from these guys, I don't care how much you love your BMW, this has to be the WORST place you could possibly service your car. I even had one of the employees threaten m don't care how much you love your BMW, this has to be the WORST place you could possibly service your car. I even had one of the employees threaten me, and physically push me. I have never felt so strongly that this business should be shut down for unethical treatment to its customers! Kevin Gaither / Sandy Skees are fools that do not listen to his customers at all, what kind of "Manager" is that? Go back to school, and learn how to treat customers with respect... More

I brought my 2002 325I in for a rear tail light panel repair on a Nation wide BMW recall so No Charge. While performing the fix they did an overall inspection and found a the valve cover gasket leaking repair on a Nation wide BMW recall so No Charge. While performing the fix they did an overall inspection and found a the valve cover gasket leaking oil and my under engine panel broken/damaged. They left me a voicemail at my home to get authorization to make these fixes. The gasket cover quoted at $510 and the under panel quoted at $279. I declined the repairs as I have my own auto mechanic who knows my car and does repairs. When I picked up my car,and drove home we discovered the under panel and the four bolts missing. When I called the dealer to find out what happened to it and that I didn't authorize anything to be taken off my car, they told me it wasn't on there to begin with. There was a miscommunication between the service technician and the assistant service manager, KIN SALAS. I definitely know the panel was on my car when I brought it in. More
This is worse dealership I ever encountered. This guys are bunch of crooks, if you go for services their, they will find you some phony leak issue, charge you without doing any service. YOu drive of car, are bunch of crooks, if you go for services their, they will find you some phony leak issue, charge you without doing any service. YOu drive of car, you stil have problem.. You go back, they don't have any remorse of wrong doing. I had multiple instances of this issue:- 1) I can't belive it. I service my car, drive off, and cars alternator is broken. 2. I service my car, drive off, and found car's left turn indicator is broken.. Another funny thing, if you call their number, it will make you wait for 20-30 minuts to talk to any on.. More
Tried to up sell a $750 diagnostic! Vehicle brought in for routine service (oil change). When the $750 dx was declined, suddenly a FREE diagnostic could be included. Loaner car on EMPTY - I was told to for routine service (oil change). When the $750 dx was declined, suddenly a FREE diagnostic could be included. Loaner car on EMPTY - I was told to fill it up (on them). I was told I would be called before lunch with results of FREE diagnostic. That did not happen. When I called at 3pm I was told by the person answering the phone the car was ready. When I went in to pick it up, Brian told me the bushings were leaking and needed replacement - about $700 with my BMW Club discount! I declined, waited the usual 40 minutes for the car to appear. The next day I took the car to a performance center to have them check the bushings and sure enough there is NOTHING wrong with them and of course there is also nothing that could "leak" as well. The disingenuous and obvious willingness to be dishonest is blatant. I will never use this dealer again. More
As compared with our experience with the service department at Mercedes and Lexus in Bay area as well as BMW service department at another location, Steven’s Creek BMW service department is REALLY B department at Mercedes and Lexus in Bay area as well as BMW service department at another location, Steven’s Creek BMW service department is REALLY BAD. In the past so many years, we never had a complaint about any car dealers or service departments, and we were always happy repeat customers…. But I tell you that we NEVER go back to Steven’s Creek BMW. Right after we bought a car, we waited for at least > a few weeks for the dealership to receive an alarm system which we paid an extra $. When they called us to make an appointment since the dealership received an alarm and we took a car to the service department, we were told that the part they received was not the right one and we needed to wait for an additional weeks. It took FOREVER to receive and install an alarm which BMW charged us and got paid on Day 1. Recently we took our car for a regular check up. When we went to pick up the car, the customer service team kept telling us that “it will be ready in a 5 minutes”, and at the end, it took > 50 minutes. No one every apologized for such poor customer supports. Basically their service department does NOT care about their customers at all. In addition, next day, and the service manager (by the way, his name is “Scott” – so watch out him!!) called us and harassed us, saying that we yelled at the service department person while the manager was not on site….. Scott does not get it the fact that none of customers will yell at BMW’s employee unless such they receive an EXCEPTIONAL poor service…. Anyway, if you are trying to buy a BMW, you should go to Mountain View or other locations for you to be treated as real “customer”. More
Although I was very pleased with my sales experience I do not recommend the service department. I had a part installed that was defective and never worked (it was also installed incorrectly). After being c not recommend the service department. I had a part installed that was defective and never worked (it was also installed incorrectly). After being charged double the labor rate, they they said that they would not exchange the part or fix it as they can't take back used parts! I was then yelled at by the service person because I hadn't given them good ratings. He told me he would have been nicer if I had given him a good rating. I probably would have given him a higher rating if he had given better service. Not worth the inconvenience. 4 months later I am still dealing with getting this part fixed and installed correctly. Brought my car in for a routine inspection. Svc engine soon light was not on when it arrived but was on when I left. Arrived at 8:30 am and was sought of rushed out at 5:30 on a Saturday. Was handed a lis soon light was not on when it arrived but was on when I left. Arrived at 8:30 am and was sought of rushed out at 5:30 on a Saturday. Was handed a list of fault codes which indicated mifire on all cylinders. All I got was an arrogant exlanation that I should drive the car and the indicator should go out. It was low on fuel when I brought it in but you'd think they would advise me before hand that the svc engine light came on and they really either didn't know why or just told me to drive the car. Now it needs to pass smog and I have to take nore time and $ to get this issue diagnosed and fixed. Needless to say Ive spent hundreds of dollars at SC BMW always at least getting reasonable svc. Pricing has always been high. But to be shuffled out so carelessly without determining why my car is in worse shape than it went in is unexplainable. Needless to say its very close by to where I live but will do best to avoid going back. Left message and have not yet recd a return call. Can't tell you how pissed I am at these folks. Other BMW dealer ships have always taken better care. Avoid this dealership and its svc operation. More
