Long story short. My 2022 Kia Sorrento was put in the shop for a fatal transmission error. They could not duplicate the code so the car was sent home. Then again two weeks ago the car throws fatal transmission error, and shuts down in the middle of the road. The car is towed in to have it looked at again and once again they cannot replicate the code. Period I suggested several avenues after some research as to what that problem could be based on other users experiences and requested that the circuit board be pulled to look for a crack. I was told when I went to pick the car up that the circuit board was pulled, and there was no crack after further questioning. It turns out the circuit board was never pulled. I did in fact, tell them that the dealership and service department were looking at legal action due to other factors involved. And then receive an email that stated I was accused of physically threatening employees and they would no longer service my car. When calling and speaking with the service manager, apparently the service personnel had each other‘s back and stated that I did threaten a certain lady. The same lady that lied to me about pulling the circuit board so I explained the issue on the car and was told that this service lady stated I refused to pay for them to pull the circuit board. This is not true. I was never given that option. I was simply told since it was not covered under warranty to pull the circuit board. They were not going to do it. So now I’ve been banned from the service department. They will no longer look at the car and I still have a broken car. The service personnel they lie and they keep each other’s back. Please do yourself a favor. Find somewhere else to look at your cars if you want a thorough inspection done. More
Jose was very pleasant helping me with getting the car towed by Simmons wrecker. I didn't pickup the car as my dad did. After he drove off the lot the car started steaming as radiator fluid was leaking. D towed by Simmons wrecker. I didn't pickup the car as my dad did. This dealership has always been well-organized, responsible, reliable, and pleasant to work with. I have recommended it to friends and family in the past. However, I was disappointed in my recent visit for a routine state inspection, oil change, and check of a small problem with the AC . Although I wasn’t told an approximate time to expect to wait, based on past experience I was not prepared for the 2 .5 hour wait, most of which I spent in the customer waiting area following a brief shuttle trip into Harrisonburg. Had I known how long the wait would be and how unbearably hot the waiting room would be, I would have stayed away until called. Suggestions: updates on progress, check on temperature of waiting area and customer welfare in days of extreme heat, offer a cool drink or a fan when customers must wait for an extended time. I hope this was just an isolated experience. More
