Typical obtuse car sales people and support staff including management. Didn’t listen to my requests, acted dumb when I brought up what was agreed upon earlier. Saw newly delivered cars speeding thro including management. Didn’t listen to my requests, acted dumb when I brought up what was agreed upon earlier. Saw newly delivered cars speeding through the parking lot which isn’t good for new cylinder rings etc…New car I picked up had mud smeared throughout and in the door buttons. Didn’t offer me a test drive before buying. Didn’t say anything to me when I left, it was just here’s an envelope with a key in it…. Bye, I guess. Just a weird experience. More

Since we bought a two year old vehicle that was originally purchased at Steve's, we thought the original owner had already paid for those two things, and we wouldn't be charged for those. The only other dissatisfaction was with the extended warranty. At almost three thousand dollars, this seemed a little extreme. A few days after getting home with the car, we had some questions about extended warranties, and we got a call from Matt with some cheaper options. We appreciated that information, and we are considering those options now. More

The Service center has great employees, always courteous. My only issue is what I was told and what my emails read from Toyota during my purchase. Free service within two years, or under 25,000 miles. My My only issue is what I was told and what my emails read from Toyota during my purchase. Free service within two years, or under 25,000 miles. My Limited 2023 Highlander is under two years of purchase, and under 25,000 miles, I was charged for my last service. I inquired about this and was told that I had already used my five services! Never was I told five services! I brought to attention that after a few weeks of purchasing my Highlander I received a recall notice that the front bumper needed to be replaced, as the front bumpers were falling off of the Highlanders while driving! This terrified me, after doing research, my supervisor informed me that the bumper on his Highlander fell off while his daughter was driving on the interstate at 65 mph! Luckily no one was hurt. I attempted to take my Highlander to the service department at Steve's Hometown three times before they finally had the parts to secure or replace my front bumper. During these visits they provided service to my Highlander. I drive from Baker City, OR to Ontario, OR for my service, an 86 mile one way trip from my home. I received a follow up text from Steve's Hometown regarding my service and I expressed my concerns, and reasons for the service due to a recall. The response was I had used my five services. After purchasing three new vehicles from Steve's Hometown within one year, we were never informed that we were limited to five services. It was not my doing of Toyota installing a front bumper that was falling off while driving, or the very long delay in the part arriving for this recall. Not satisfied with my return text or lack of concern on the delay with the recall. More
