I gave my 100,000 mile service experience at Steve White VW/Audi a 5 overall because the service done was professional and complete and the technicians did what I asked for in a thorough and timely manner. VW/Audi a 5 overall because the service done was professional and complete and the technicians did what I asked for in a thorough and timely manner. I found it a pleasure dealing with Jeff Wyatt for scheduling the service, and especially for the call back updates on the progress of the work and on recommendations for replacement tires for my car. The appointment was scheduled for when I wanted it and the work was done within the timeframe promised and at the price I was quoted. More

My 2006 Beetle had a few things that needed attention. The brakes needed work. Got that done. Headlights needed repair. DONE. The driver side window was loose and causing some noise and concern. FIXED! Al The brakes needed work. Got that done. Headlights needed repair. DONE. The driver side window was loose and causing some noise and concern. FIXED! Also, my daughter had apparently run over something and caused some uncommon damage near the radiator that was causing a suspicious noise. REPAIRED! Got everything done at the dealership with the guys I know have the best, most up to date experience for my vehicle. Price was very good. Service was fast. We checked in with Neil and got the most friendly assistance you could ask for. He knew everything about the work that should be done, explained the work and time needed for the repairs, put his best trained guys on each repair, and then found the warranty and service notices required to make sure VW was doing their part to support the quality of product they always taut. Just awesome. Bottom line, the repairs couldn't have been done any better. I was totally impressed. Noone but Neil and his crew at Steve White VW will be working on our BEETLE for a long time! THANKS GUYS! More

I own two VW vehicles: A 2003 GTI and a 1978 Westfalia Camper. I brought the camper to the dealership in March, 2008 for service and was directed to a local mechanic in Easley, SC, as such a vehicle was n Camper. I brought the camper to the dealership in March, 2008 for service and was directed to a local mechanic in Easley, SC, as such a vehicle was no longer serviced at the dealer level. I was satisfied with the local mechanic's work on the Westfalia. As he was recommended by the dealer, and as my GTI was no longer under warranty, I decided to get it serviced by him as well. In August, 2008, I had the local mechanic perform a 40K service on my GTI. I had noticed a gradual decline in its MPG rate and brought this to his attention as an indication of the engine becoming less efficient. He turned it up and the MPG rate improved. In October, 2008 the fuel pump failed. The local mechanic replaced it. I advised him that after that replacement the fuel gauge had become unreliable. In addition, confoundedly, the new fuel pump failed within days. He replaced it, but the fuel gauge remained unreliable and I now also detected a whine which heretofore had not be present. I deduced that there should have been no noise from a new fuel pump. I brought these issues to his attention on several occasions, but nothing changed. The car ran reasonably well although I saw a loss of mpg rate over time. I took the car back to him when it turned 50K for service, again asking his advice re the fuel gauge. Up to that time he had never mentioned the 'sending unit". I consider myself a loyal customer, however, I began to question the local mechanic's ethics. I brought the GTI back to Steve White's VW dealership recently in hopes of putting my mind at ease. I had always received first class service there and, frankly, rued the day I went somewhere else. I was very pleased by the quality of service I received. I might add that a very clear explanation was given me by Mr. Simpkins, Service Advisor, as to the issue of how a 'sending unit' can be screwed up. Since then the GTI has been running like it should, snapping my head back with its torque, bringing a smile to my old face. The jury is still out on the MPG rate, and the fuel gauge remains screwed up, and the whine is still there, but I feel a whole lot better. Seems to me everyone I have encountered at Steve White Motors are happy folks. Its a credit to the company in these hard times. Thank you, W.S.Kibler More
