Was to have my vehicle back 3 hours later. They were supposed to replace a fuel door which is about 45 minutes, and they were to diagnose a cylinder 2 misfire engine code that showed up 50 miles after my last service when they updated the PCM. They told me they had to do a compression/leak down test on cylinder #2 and it would be a couple hours later that what my pickup time should have been. 4 hours after my pickup time I was able to get my Jeep back. They had my vehicle for 7 +hours. The engine compartment looks like no one touched anything. They claim it is a 1-2 hour job to do the compression test, but it is really like a one hour job. The day after my service I contacted the dealership to talk to the service manager, and my calls were never returned. I also posted on their website asking for someone to contact me, and they never did. Finally 13 days later, I got someone to call me back and I eventually asked them for the paperwork of what was done during this compression test so I can take my vehicle to get a second opinion. Once I asked to be able to go get a second opinion I was told the Service Manager wanted to talk to me about my case. I was on hold for over 30 minutes that time, then I was told that the Service Manager would call me back. About 2.5 hours later the Service Manager called me back, and told me that since I do not have confidence in their diagnosis, that it would be best if I took my vehicle to another dealership to get my service done. They have basically blacklisted me from this dealership, because I requested to go get a second opinion and wanted my original paperwork and test results to compare the new diagnosis to. More

Living in Southern Calif. and buying a car in Hickory NC seems ill advised. Usually everyone comes to California to buy cars. I read reviews about your Dealership before my purchase and felt it was less risky. My Sublime Charger arrived and i was extremely satisfied with it's overall condition, actually it was as nice as i was hoping for and I am very picky when it comes to cars. Truly it is in amazing condition. Thanks for not over promising and under delivering. The car is beautiful and the transaction was straight forward. Thank you very much. I called and talked to Ryan. The Jeep was below other dealerships and we had our eye on another which was about 1300 cheaper. But in the end I went with the X edition and called back and talked with Mike McGirk. He remembered our deal from a few days before and honored it and I bought the car. It was delivered to my driveway and very little time lost by me and little paperwork. The delivery drivers were very patient and nice. Great purchase experience. More
Total misrepresentation and wasted time I found a vehicle online listed from Steve White Motors. After submitting an inquiry, I received a call from Bruce. After a little back and forth, a price was agreed upon. I spoke with Bruce a few times over the following days and scheduled a day and time for pick up. I was assured that the paint was excellent "not even a chip in the clear coat". He did disclose that there was a small crack in the bumper that "I wouldn't notice if I wasn't looking for it". On my first day off, I drove up to Newton to pick up my truck. I didn't mind the almost 2 hour drive, because of the payoff of getting a new-to-me vehicle. Once there, I met with Lisa (lone bright spot of this trip). When they brought the vehicle out, I looked over it. It took me less than a minute to find multiple really, really pitiful attempts at applying touch up paint with a paint pen. These weren't small chips, they were significant scratches and were made to stand out more by the child like application of the paint pen. Needless to say, a long way from "excellent, not even a chip in the clear coat". The small crack that I wouldn't notice was pointed out by my 5 year old. Yep, also significant. I retrieved my bank check and drove almost 2 hours home cursing Bruce Lee. I guess next time I will buy my truck from Chuck Norris. More

I was looking for a 4x4 regular cab truck in a particular color and chrome package. Most dealers focus only quad and crew cab trucks and offer few choices in regular cab trucks. Although I live 90 miles away from Hickory, it was worth the drive because this dealership had one of the largest and most diverse inventories in central North Carolina--including the regular cab truck that I was looking for. Mike Taylor was extremely responsive to my initial email inquiry and we worked out an agreement to buy the truck with just an exchange of emails and two short telephone conversations.
