Service Advisor Leon Cobbs was having a bad day. And he took it out on me. I would not recommend him as a service advisor. I reviewed his performance in Yelp; and his marks were not very high. I had my engine oil and transmission oil changed yesterday 5/5/25 and it was only an hour wait. They sent me a link of the MULTI POINT INSPECTION and I noticed that in 1 of the reports is says ENGIN yesterday 5/5/25 and it was only an hour wait. They sent me a link of the MULTI POINT INSPECTION and I noticed that in 1 of the reports is says ENGINE AIR FILTER is SATISFACTORY. After arriving at home, I've checked my engine, and I noticed that even a single handprint was not visible in my engine air filter cover. It only means they didn't really inspect or check it. I ended up changing it by myself. Now, I was wondering if STEVE HOPSKINS HONDA service crews really do the "MULTI POINT INSPECTION" for real as stated in the report. I'm a valued customer and I'm thinking if I should go back there for any services. Did the Honda service crews really changed my oil services???? More
Good experience buying from Steve Hopkins. They are honest, transparent, and not pushy. Unlike some other car sales people who would not give me their prices over the phone and insisted tha They are honest, transparent, and not pushy. Unlike some other car sales people who would not give me their prices over the phone and insisted that I should visit them in person, Brendan at Steven Hopkins gave me a very competitive offer over email at the very beginning. The offer also disclosed add-ons and their costs (rather than trying to hide them and surprise me at purchase time). Because I did not want the add-ons and they did not have the color I wanted in stock, I had a lot of back-and-force negotiation and discussion with Brendan. He was always respectful and patient. He answered all my questions, listened to my concerns and arguments, and did his best to accommodate me. When there was something he could not do, he honestly told me he could not. I ended up happily buying a different color from them. More
We agreed on a vehicle and price on a Thursday and that we set an appointment for Saturday afternoon to purchase the car. We were about an hour away heading to the dealership for our appointment when we g we set an appointment for Saturday afternoon to purchase the car. We were about an hour away heading to the dealership for our appointment when we get a text that our car we agreed upon was already sold! So I asked for another vehicle and a discount out of good faith, but they wouldn’t budge. So we cancelled our appointment as there was no reason to show up since they sold the car we agreed on. So we ended up buying a Toyota. But guess what happened a couple days later… they sent us a lower offer for the vehicle I asked about that Saturday that they refused to budge on price!! Sorry! Too late! You should have just made things right that Saturday. Instead you lost out on a $40k+ sale and what would have been a happy customer. I should have read the reviews ahead of time to avoid the hassle in the first place. More
We (our insurance and us) were ripped off! !! We brought our car, which was bought from them a couple of years ago (used), because it collected water inside the trunk and wet the back seat. Th !! We brought our car, which was bought from them a couple of years ago (used), because it collected water inside the trunk and wet the back seat. They charged our insurance $2000 and we have to pay extra $375 out of pocket. Took the car home and brought to the car wash after a couple of days and then there’s water again. Brought it back to them and this time they are giving us a different diagnostic and said that it’s a wear and tear and will not be covered by insurance. They verbally quoted us between $1500 to $2000. We cannot afford that and decided to take the back, disassembled! Had to look for other mechanic to fix the problem and we were charged $400! Don’t deal with this dealership! They are out to take your money and not even fix the problem. So disappointed and upset! More
