USED CAR DEALER WORKING HARD TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF FEMALE VETERAN BUYERS. STOLE $20K. SAME COMPANY AS LEESBURG AUTO IMPORT Salesperson: PAUL YASSINI Manager: YASSER EL-AZEM May 24, 2024 @ 1730: Vehic VETERAN BUYERS. STOLE $20K. SAME COMPANY AS LEESBURG AUTO IMPORT Salesperson: PAUL YASSINI Manager: YASSER EL-AZEM May 24, 2024 @ 1730: Vehicle PURCHASED May 25, 2024 @ 1325: Vehicle UNDRIVABLE **Purchase was contingent on fixing previous issue (shaking/vibration) May 25, 2024 1329: Called Yasser to report issue, he was unavailable. Requested a call back. 1421: Paul called, stating he’d have the vehicle towed & repaired. Since the vehicle sale was contingent on fixing this issue, I asked to return it as I was leaving town for an unknown period. Paul got heated, stating LAI wouldn’t take the vehicle & wasn't responsible. I reiterated the deal was contingent on this very issue being corrected. After continued conversation, I asked to speak w/ management. Paul said I didn’t need to speak w/ a manager, he had store manager authority & was told to deal w/ this. I then stated they can come get the vehicle & then payment can be stopped. Paul then raised his voice, threatening that I'd be committing a felony & cops would be sent to pound on my door. I stated the conversation was over & I’d only speak w/ the manager. 1432: Paul texted, asking the vehicles location. After I sent the address, Paul texted: “…. Jeep Dealership has already accepted fault & will remediate the issues necessary...We’ll cover towing costs for bringing the vehicle here, & may also potentially compensate you for your loaner vehicle…” I replied: “…. Happy to discuss w/ the manager.” 1537: I texted Paul: “…We’re still waiting to talk to the manager to figure out a resolution…...” 1630: I texted: “We need to hear back by 1700” Paul texted shortly after: “I understand thank you! One moment.” While waiting, I ran a diagnostic on the vehicle & discovered that the misfire issue supposedly corrected wasn’t corrected. 1900: Manager never called (7hrs of waiting). May 26, 2024 2030: I posted the above in a review. 2102: Paul texted, “Hello... What would you like for us to do? At this point if you’re genuinely unhappy with your purchase & don’t want us to tow the vehicle to the shop & would prefer an unwinding of the deal please remove your negative review & reach out to me in regard to exactly what you prefer we do.… We’re willing to work with you but we just ask that you refrain from negatively slandering us until we have reached a resolution for your issue…I’m sorry again about any negative experience you’ve had with us but we’ll practically do whatever it takes to improve your experience with us or at the absolute least remediate the financial loss of purchasing the vehicle by refunding you in full if that’s what you genuinely would prefer..” I stated I wanted to unwind the deal as offered. May 27, 2024 0827: Paul texted, “Goodmorning…! Okay, I’ve spoken to the necessary authorities in our company & are willing to resolve the issue using your proposition to unwind the deal. You may go ahead & remove the review while we process your request & as agreed, if you face any hiccups in the next 24 hours you may reinstate your review!” 1103: Yasser emailed, “The following transcription is an official confirmation from our establishment (Leesburg Auto Import) stating that we’re willing & able to begin the appeal process to obtain an exceptional approval against our policy (all sales final) in order to satisfy your request of cancellation, under the conditions of mutual agreement & removal of any & all public correspondence including publicly published negative reviews &/or statements...” 1229: Yasser emailed, “May this be written confirmation that our appeals process will take no longer than 72 hours to finalize & shipping arrangements to pick up the Vehicle from … will be made within the business day.” I agreed to remove the review until May 31 pending resolution. May 28, 2024 @1129 LAI took possession of vehicle June 8, 2024: LAI's ignored communication efforts & hasn’t issued a refund despite vehicle possession. More
The dealership was a very welcoming, clean, and visually pleasing environment. Unfortunately, the car I was looking for had just been sold. I suspected this would be the case as Cars.com was the only listin pleasing environment. Unfortunately, the car I was looking for had just been sold.
