First, I'd like to start by saying this location gets 5 stars due to Customer Experience & Excellent Customer Service due to my salesman Darrell Babineaux! I'm in customer service being a Sales Manager at stars due to Customer Experience & Excellent Customer Service due to my salesman Darrell Babineaux! I'm in customer service being a Sales Manager at a retailer so I can really appreciate when someone gives excellent customer service as Mr Darrell Babineaux gave me. His phone presentation was so great I made a appointment to come in.He greeted us with a smile and a burst of positive energy that made a usual stressful duty a phenomenal experience breaking all stigmas associated with buying a car. From start to finish his professionalism, answering all my questions, his patience and his eager to please a customer made him hands down the best! The finance manager “Effrin” was absolutely amazing taking the time to explain the rates and the financing process he was very pleasant, positive, friendly and professional. These two gentlemen made a everlasting impression on me,a breath of fresh air.I will be referring my family, friends and coworkers to Sterling McCall Buick GMC! Kind regards, Miss T.Moore More
They just want your money. The place is a scam. They will tell you the initial diagnostic can’t find the real problem, you need to approve additional time for diagnostic, which The place is a scam. They will tell you the initial diagnostic can’t find the real problem, you need to approve additional time for diagnostic, which will cost you $550. Of course, they want to make it sounds critical and also assure you that your car is in good hand and they will find out what’s wrong and fix the problem. They will add this with the total cost of fixing your car. Don’t fall for the trap. The place has gone bad after few changes in managements. More
They will do their best to sell you a car but their after sale service is horrible, they don’t keep their word nor their promises, I bought a used car from them and the sales associate told me to come back t sale service is horrible, they don’t keep their word nor their promises, I bought a used car from them and the sales associate told me to come back to fix any issue I find, the battery went dead and they simply ignored everything. The sales manager was horrible. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. That was southwest freeway location. More
I purchased my Yukon in 2013 and always took it to the Sterling McCall dealership for any and all service. 2 months ago GMC replaced my oil sensor, however, it was my oil pump that was defective. A month Sterling McCall dealership for any and all service. 2 months ago GMC replaced my oil sensor, however, it was my oil pump that was defective. A month later the oil pump went completely out. While the pump was defective it was not pumping enough oil to the engine. Long story short, it ruined the motor during the defective period. GMC said $11,000 for used and $13,000 for new motor. I towed it from there to Caliber and they replaced it for less than $6000 including taxes. GMC rep I spoke to yesterday named Chris told me he had “no empathy” for me cause I took the vehicle to Caliber. Unbelievable service recovery!! I’ll never again do business there!! The rep is pathetic! The service rep Chris is phenomenal, and obviously is a different person than Chris that was unprofessional. More
I was very interested in buying a used car from this dealership. They attempted to lowball me on my trade. Their offer was insulting. I recommended all of friends and family to stay away from this shady dealership. They attempted to lowball me on my trade. Their offer was insulting. THE WORST! I dealt with a salesman that contacted me via text. No respect, just trying to muscle through a conversation and strong-arming me on everything I ask I dealt with a salesman that contacted me via text. No respect, just trying to muscle through a conversation and strong-arming me on everything I asked and suggested. The only response was to come to the dealership and make a deal. Wouldnt talk about pricing. When I asked about the price, he said the vehicles are priced to sell; I needed to come in because he sold vehicles in person. I am pre-approved and will be buying a car, but NOT from Sterling McCall Buick GMC because of people like Darrell Foster. Don't waste your time here; I wouldn't even give them a single-star rating, to be honest. More

I’ve waited two weeks to post this review in hopes that the dealership would make my purchase experience right. On 12/04 I drove in from Austin to pickup a vehicle that was deemed by the pre owned sales ma the dealership would make my purchase experience right. On 12/04 I drove in from Austin to pickup a vehicle that was deemed by the pre owned sales manager, “ready to pickup”, 2 days earlier. Upon arrival at 9am I found the vehicle on the shop lift with a “waiting on parts” status. I was not able to drive the vehicle the entirety of the day. I got no updates the entire day unless I specifically asked for them. Upon 6pm when the vehicle was ready I was informed the rear tires were bad and they were not able to get the tires in. They offered to send me a check next day. I drove home on unsafe tires in heavy downpour conditions, with a rear end vibration I can’t even find the words to describe. The tires were below 2/32nds( less than what’s required by state law to be deemed legal). Upon asking the preowned sales manager everyday for 3 weeks,I finally received my check yesterday, 12/20. And it was the wrong amount… On top of this all; 4 wheels were damaged and had to be repaired, there were several dents on the passenger door that were deemed “not that serious”, the rear shocks were leaking, the vehicle was sold with one key so I had to get another, multiple plastic pieces on the interior were broken or missing. There was no owners manual. Alot of this is nitpicking but the cost of all this adds up to roughly $1600. On a vehicle that still has temporary tags. If you want a dealership that takes care of their customers in hopes that you buy everyone of your vehicles from them, go somewhere else. If you want a sleezy dealership that doesn’t repair their vehicles right in order to get the most money possible, you’re in luck. More
Beware - deceptive sales pricing. I drove from Pasadena to Sterling McCall GMC on the other side of Houston to test drive a truck. The listed price which I include here is on their website. When I arrive to Sterling McCall GMC on the other side of Houston to test drive a truck. The listed price which I include here is on their website. When I arrive to test drive the vehicle I ask the sales price and the sales person tells me $76,000 ... $20,000 more than vehicle is listed for on their website. I toss the keys back to the salesman and head straight for the sales manager. I am referred to a disclaimer on the bottom of listing saying dealer add ons and blah blah may change the price. Well they don't list any dealer add ons in their description nor mention anywhere on the listing for the vehicle that they put an aftermarket lift. From the pics I can see the tires are aftermarket so we have $2000 in tires, $2000 in rims and Ill give them $3000 for a lift Im not sure because they don't list any of the items. So $7000 in add ons and they raise the price $20,000. Hopefully some poor smuck doesn't buy this truck. The sales manager had the audacity to ask me what I would give him for the truck and i said $56K what you have advertised. DECEPTIVE and still as I am about to walk out they try and shove the disclaimer in my face and any person would know the truck is lifted by the pictures .. sorry without reference and the angles nope. And the AT4 comes with a factory 2" lift so when the sales guy said "you know its lifted" and I said yeah by the factory. So before you drive to this dealer verify prices because its a dog and pony show here...I could see 5-6 difference but $20000 ... thats just false advertising to get people on the lot. More
Brought my vehicle in for a leaking problem water leaking problem on October 13th Alyssa told me that she will contact me in reference to the problem I received one call from her. The next day the manager ca problem on October 13th Alyssa told me that she will contact me in reference to the problem I received one call from her. The next day the manager called and told me they will continue to look for the problem no one called me. I made several attempts to contact them no return calls. Then today which is October 19th 2021. Alicia calls me and tell me she just came from vacation and they were unable to fix or fine the problem. So I went a week without my car had to be at work so I couldn't go to work due to their negligence of my vehicle. I'm pissed to the max cuz when I get here to get my vehicle everybody brushes me off like it's nothing to them. Not only I miss work for a week without pay and was stuck in the house for a whole week due to their negligence. More
