I had a really disappointing experience at Sterling McCall GMC. I initially spoke with a young guy named Johnathan who constantly overtalked me and didn’t seem interested in listening to what I actuall McCall GMC. I initially spoke with a young guy named Johnathan who constantly overtalked me and didn’t seem interested in listening to what I actually wanted. They gave me numbers on one truck, but I didn’t like that particular vehicle, so I started working with someone else named Floyd. He gave me numbers on a different truck, which was fine, and after a few days of back-and-forth—mostly because they kept texting me—I started thinking more seriously about the deal. At one point, I had three different people texting me, all pushing me to come in and buy the truck. I have the texts to prove it. Eventually, I got the numbers down to where I wanted them, but only after asking them to remove several add-ons I didn’t need. Be aware—they’ll throw in extra items to increase the price, so watch the numbers very closely when dealing with these salespeople. On top of that, Johnathan completely stopped responding to my texts. I had to call the finance guy directly. He looked at the numbers and—keep in mind, we had already been approved through GMC—realized something wasn’t adding up. He called them back, and then I was told they couldn’t sell me the truck after all. I hope this feedback reaches the owner, because this was one of the most frustrating dealership experiences I’ve ever had. I will never shop at Sterling McCall GMC again. More
