Change for the better! I just had to call Sterling Heights Dodge for the first time in more than a year since their service department had really really upset me. I was nerv I just had to call Sterling Heights Dodge for the first time in more than a year since their service department had really really upset me. I was nervous about having to deal with them. Turns out that the service manager that had been ridiculously rude was replaced by a very friendly and helpful new manager named James Jordan. Finally after several years of trying to get my recall work done, it looks like everything is lined up. He's coordinating getting my parts ordered, recall work done, and my remote start hooked back up at no charge to me. Hopefully I'm not speaking too soon, lol. But just his professionalism and kindness on the phone has already given me the thought that I'll start using their service department again. I've been driving out of my way to go to another dealership and I'm excited if I can go back to using the one close to home again. More

I was greeted as if I was an inconvenience for me to bring my car in. The girl was nasty about telling me they had a 3 week backup. She made me feel like I was an idiot for not knowing they are backed up. She had ZERO empathy nor compassion for someone having car troubles. No one wants to have issues with their car but a nice service person can make the experience more tolerable. I was coming to exchange my money for service but I felt like I was bothering them. Such a harsh feeling to feel so not welcome in the service area of the dealer you got your car from. I'll never buy from them again, there are other dealerships out there. The girl with long dark hair needs to find new job where she doesn't talk to customers. I think her name was Katie. More
Worst Service Center Ever! This is seriously the worst service department I've ever been to. On multiple occasions they try to say that there is nothing wrong with my car and af This is seriously the worst service department I've ever been to. On multiple occasions they try to say that there is nothing wrong with my car and after calls to Chrysler's headquarters they begin to take it seriously. On the most recent occasion, I brought my car in because it wouldn't start and I knew it wasn't the battery. I pulled my car in the service lane and after standing by my car for 5-10 minutes, someone finally talked to me. And by talk to me, I mean "do you have an appointment? We only see cars by appointment and we're booked until the 14th." And when I replied "Since when? I've brought my car here on numerous occasions as soon as I have an electrical problem," he tried to tell me it's always been that way. Then he grabbed a different person to talk to me. She was even less helpful than he was. She tried to tell me it was my battery, which I assured her it wasn't. I told her that I have an extended warranty and need my car fixed because it will not start on its own. Her response was "we only take cars by appointment." When I asked her what people do when it's an emergency, she stated "go to another dealership." Well that's truly the worst customer service I've ever heard. After a long conversation with her about how my car is un-drivable and that it is not the battery, she told me the earliest they could get me in is Dec 18. When I asked why I was told the 14th earlier and now she wanted to push it back, she then told me that she could get me in on the morning of the 15th. I am so appalled by the treatment and "service" that I received. I made sure to get her business card and I will be contacting corporate (once again) for the lack of service I received. I tell everyone who is considering buying a Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep/Ram to seriously consider it and if they still want to, DO NOT BUY IT FROM STERLING HEIGHTS! The only reason I bring my car there is because that's where it was purchased from and they've worked on my car 5-10 times for electrical problems, but yet they try to make me seem crazy when I notice a problem. There are many more instances like the one I described above, including refusing to look at my car because they didn't believe there was anything wrong with it, even though it would turn off completely when I was driving it. I beg every person who checks yelp before going to a dealership to avoid this one. It will save you time and headaches. More

A problem had come up with a part being stripped and needed to be replaced. The part was not available and had to be picked up from another location. I was very frustrated with how long this was taking and the manager had came up to me and helped with the issue. He was very professional and nice at all times, even when I may have been difficult towards them. He made an effort to make things better. Thanks for taking the time and effort to make it right. More

Our family had just left our house with our elderly parents to go to a 4 day church conference out of state. The service light began to flash and we noticed something was wrong with the acceleration. We knew right away that we would not be able to travel in this condition. When we pulled into our Sterling Heights Dealership. Mr. Jordan listened carefully and when diagnosing the issue, confirmed that it would be unsafe with our family without fully checking things out. Because it was such a tight situation, he checked in our vehicle for service and arranged an alternate vehicle that worked out perfectly for us to use . Mr. Jordan went above and beyond to make sure our service experience at Sterling Heights Dodge was an exceptional one. We were on our way in no time. More

In just 4 months Sterling Heights Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram have corrected what I felt was a customer service deficiency at other dealership, reduced my service wait time and have created a welcoming non-sales pressure atmosphere; Sal Viviano in Service helped me recover my overloaded task list by servicing my car quickly My sales representative, Chuck Prohaska handles my new vehicle praises and numerous feature questions and explanations with equal calm and grace. Aaron saved my weekend I noticed something wrong with what I thought was the transmission on my vehicle while I was driving it this morning. I took it right into the dealers I noticed something wrong with what I thought was the transmission on my vehicle while I was driving it this morning. I took it right into the dealership. Upon arrival I was greeted by a woman who asked if I had an appointment. I did not, and she was visibly annoyed by this and said someone would help me shortly. Aaron quickly asked what he could to do help me. I explained what happened and was told that the transmission mechanic would not be in for about a week. I was beginning to get upset. Aaron asked me what kind of car I drove and thought he could help me if he took it for a test drive. While we were driving it he explained that my car has the capacity to switch to manual transmission if I just tweak the gear shifter (I clearly don't know the technical term) a little bit to the left or right.... I was completely unaware of this. Aaron explained that I probably bumped it which caused the difference I felt in the transmission. I was so happy!! Not only was I relieved that there was nothing wrong with my car, Aaron saved me the trouble of having my car in the shop for a week only to be told there was nothing wrong. I am very appreciative that he took the time to help me!!!! More
Customer service in Service Dept is non exisitent When I bought my car from Sterling Heights Dodge the experience was excellent. Who doesn't like getting a new car? When I purchased my car I also bought an extended warranty for 999,999 miles. If anything goes wrong with my vehicle it is serviced for $150 deductible. Sounds great right? I was one of the first people to have the issue with the car would stall while driving. It took Sterling Heights Dodge nine visits to get the issue resolved. Now that's not nine days that's nine visits at 2 to 3 days per visit. It ended up being a $95 part. The ERG valve. Every time I visit Sterling Heights Dodge and my cars with them for at least 2 to 3 days...forcing me to Rent-A-Car. Now it's in for an overheated thermostat in my driver side automatic door is not working. This time it looks like it'll be over a week. I can't help but think that because I have a warranty I am placed on the on the bottom of the priority list. I always have to call to find out what's going on with my car. Today I waited for over two hours for an update on my car and finally when I did call back I was put on hold on and off for 45 minutes to be told that my car was still be possibly another 2 to 3 days yes it's already been three days. Please do not allow them to tell you that they are super busy because this is a perpetual problem for them. You would think that if they had this many people overflowing and meeting service that they would add additional staff and even extend their facility if need be. I am very disappointed with Sterling Heights Dodge. More

I picked up my vehicle after service involving the check engine light, GASCAP, and a warranty replacement item to be greeted by a low tire pressure light that wasn't on before...not a big deal, but they couldn't be bothered to take care of it. Two days later the check engine light was on again. I was told over the phone that if it wasn't blinking, 'it wasn't serious'. A week later it was blinking, called again and had to wait 3 weeks for an appointment, bringing me to June 2. They called on the 4th to tell me they had no record of a tune-up (never mentioned it in April), so I had them do the tune-up and their recommended 'decarbonation'. When I called about the status of my car, they found a coolant leak which was repaired - I assume. When I picked up my vehicle, there was a crack approx 12" long on the driver side windshield that was not there when I dropped it off. The service manager came out to look at it, said his people didn't cause it and they were not going to replace it. End of story. More

Picked it up 20 miles down the road encountered an problem that wasn't even an issue when dropped off. Took it back and they the treatment we Recieved was even worse thank before trying to say it was our fault! Now was treated like children by the service girl and NOW even the manager (whom we asked to speak to). Said they would look at truck and let us know we then left. Now the work they did on the truck is in right in front of what is now wrong with it! Was told by a outside mechanic that what's going on now with the truck is "probably" from them doing the work and hitting the area now having issues. It's bound to happen sometimes but on them to fix it seeing it's from them. Either way it needs to be fixed and there is a warranty on it! So don't see where their problem is. Next morning Recieved a call from said service girl said they will not be able to let us know what's wrong until a week from that day and was very rude. Therefore we called and arranged to take it elsewhere tired of being treated this way! Was told when called that if we took it it was on us and good warranty. Of course called Chrysler customer service directly they said to get the truck out of there and we were good to move it! Then picked up truck showed paper work as to the truck was just fine 4 weeks ago all oil and other fluids where great!! Shut them up real fast! Truck is now at different dealership and have a awesome experience with the so far!! Bottom line DO NOT take your cars there unless you want the work done halfway or if you up to being treated like a child! I have never been treated this badly! We have other that have witnessed parts of the treatment threw this ordeal that informed us that we did have the right to remove the truck and take it elsewhere. If I was even to treat a customer this way I would be removed on the spot form my employer!! You know it's bad when Chrysler Customer Service also told us to remove the truck and we should never return there and gave us dealerships they recommend!! Again do not go here for service unless you like crappy service half the work done and to be treated like infantile children who know nothing!!! More
