Bought a brand new 2014 Ford Focus from street pointe ford and had nothing but trouble from the beginning with it .Had 3 or 4 clutches ,new transmission,3 or 4 transmission modules.At one time had the se ford and had nothing but trouble from the beginning with it .Had 3 or 4 clutches ,new transmission,3 or 4 transmission modules.At one time had the service manager tell me it was out of warranty but found out it wasn’t.Now I call to have it looked at because it is skipping and stuttering on take off ,they intern schedule and appointment for June 8th to fix it and they call me and say the price went up from 1203.00 to 1700 and something because the mechanics rate went up though I have a paper that says 1203.00,and the week prior Cindy from service called and I asked is it still 1203.00 and she stated yes it is.The service manager said we are not eating that difference.Great dealership.THANKS STEET PONTE FORD LINCOLN FOR NOTHING. The Carbone Nissan Service Dept is 100% more reliable, better customer service and the work was completed the first time every time. We have had this Mazda over 2 years and every time we required servicing we have had bad experiences. The vehicle is never done on time. Making an appointment for servicing means nothing and we have always had to bring the vehicle back, sometime 3 times to get the "promised" work completed. While I'm not a big fan of Carbone, there Service Depts are far better than what we've experienced these last 2 years with Steet. Can't wait until this lease of over. More
Unresponsive sales staff - Used car from xxxx! I bought a 2015 Nissan Rogue with 17,000 miles on it from Phil Higgins on December 19th, the vehicle engine failed a week later. The dealership had i I bought a 2015 Nissan Rogue with 17,000 miles on it from Phil Higgins on December 19th, the vehicle engine failed a week later. The dealership had it towed in and said it needed a new motor, they ordered a used motor (really great!). 6 weeks later, with very little or no updates coming from anyone, the vehicle is completed. Needless to say, this whole experience has been negative from the beginning, in the contract, it was written that I was to have all weather mats installed, this has not happen, always getting the runaround, they are on order, someone is bringing them from home and on and on! No loaner vehicle during the six weeks I was without this car, no apologies of any kind. What has happened to customer service?? I will NEVER purchase another vehicle from these shameful people. More
I have been to many dealerships for service over 30 years now for all the new vehicles I have owned, this has to be the nightmare of all, and worst experience I ever had! I tried to have my vehicle in for s now for all the new vehicles I have owned, this has to be the nightmare of all, and worst experience I ever had! I tried to have my vehicle in for service and fixed over a 5 month period, and they never once provided a professional and Lincoln standard experience with service the time I tried to have the issues fixed! I had to go through Lincoln Concierge to thy to rectify the issues I was having with this Dealership on multiple occasions, which failed every time. Manager of service department was the worst ever I have dealt with in 30 years of servicing a new car. I tried to speak with General Manager of dealership but always was conveniently never available to talk to! then I went as far as getting the one of the owners phone numbers and call to make them aware of the issues going on for the last 5 months and never got a return call back. I feel at this point they have no interest in correcting the problems with their Lincoln Dealership on Commercial Drive, in New Hartford. The Lincoln Concierge Department was fully aware and as a loss to the lack of professionalism and experiences that I and they were having with trying to fix the issues with my brand new Lincoln. I would STRONGLY recommend to stay way from their service department if you want the Lincoln courtesy you should receive when having a repair issue. No one seemed to care about the customer and their concerns. I rated them one star ONLY to bring this to the attention of people who shop around using reviews and looking for a quality place to bring your Lincoln. Do not bring it her, you will be highly disappointed with the service department. I formerly made an official complaint through the Lincoln regional manager for the Lincoln Concierge Department about this dealership. they are fully aware and have been for 5 months of the horrible service and response from this dealership. I bought two Mazda’s from Steet Ponte in one year. The day I knew I wanted a second one from them was when I took my first (CX-5) for its first service. They are far from my home. But I love the honesty and care I got from Shane and Joel and the service department so it was worth the hour drive each way. I bought a 2020 Mazda 3 in Soul Red and couldn’t be happier! It’s great when you find a brand of car you love and a dealership to which to return to over again! More
