Terrible customer service. I Purchased a new Wagoneer in September. The customer service is terrible, so disappointed given this is my first luxury car purchase experience. The dealer took over a month to pay off my trade-in vehicle and would not return my multiple phone calls, texts and voice messages to salesman and managers regarding this issue. Now, 8 weeks into my my new Wagoneer which still has temporary tags, my steering system is not working and all service lights on. The dealer states I can drop the vehicle off but there is no loaner car available for me to us. I’m a working mom with 3 children, I need a vehicle. After spending 75K on a car, you would think they could provide something for me to use to address these serious issues in my brand new car. Again today, I called and left messages to see if they can find a solution for me, crickets. So beyond frustrating. More
Here’s my story don’t be me, STAY AWAY or go in with a mechanic friend or just please research anyone but this “reputable” service department. I went initially with an engine problem at 49,815 miles, I mechanic friend or just please research anyone but this “reputable” service department. I went initially with an engine problem at 49,815 miles, I went ahead and give them the go ahead to fix it getting an original quote of $3.596, 1 L Valve 1 R Valve cover 24 tappets 24 rollers 1 coolant Parts $1220.34 Labor $2,2275 Tax 100.68. I mentioned I was military and THANKFULLY received a 10% discount. Brought my total down to $3,236. At that point I had to go ahead and give them the go ahead I only have one vehicle and live two hours away, I needed it fixed. So great it gets fixed and then I receive a call, with “bad news.” As a technician was pulling out of the garage he pushed the button to make the drivers side window go up or down (im not clear what direction as the service director said down and the service technician said up) and the window falls. The sales technician quoted me $350 in labor and $120 for the window regulator. I couldn’t afford that I can’t afford that there’s no way. I explained to them my Jeeps drivers side window OR ANY WINDOW, showed no signs or symptoms of any malfunction how is it possible? “it just happens” is the only answer and explanation I received, The sales technician then let’s me know Lynn the Service Director can take a $100 dollars off for my troubles. I think about it, and the next day I talk to Alex the sales technician and let him no I can’t afford it. He ensures me they did not touch the window panel and it will be left as is. When I get to the dealership today August 20, 2022 I check my door and guess what, the panel is loose!! and there is a an orange wedge. I understand the wedge being there, but why is my window panel loose? I checked the other three doors they’re not loose. I show the service technician and immediately he gets Lynn the service director. Talk about a service department TAKING ADVANTAGE of its customers. He had no explanation as to why my window panel is loose if they claimed to not have done anything to it, and made sure to let me know the wedge costs big money and I’m getting a wedge complimentary. You go knowing dealerships are going to be expensive but that you’re gunna get great service and work instead you get taken advantage of for being a female, for not having family to go with you or friends because you just moved as a PCS, and the 10% percent for military, don’t bother mentioning as they might tamper with your vehicle to make it back. Honest, military friendly, reputable, Words that will never describe this Service Departments. More
