I visited Steele GMC this last Saturday. I looked at a truck and test drove it, then decided to work a deal on it. I had a trade and we finally agreed to a final price that would be financed. At this point I'm working with the sales manager and he carries the deal over to finance. After about 30 minutes he comes back over to me and says that he hasnt gotten a response yet , probably because it was so late in the evening. He then said that we would finish this deal on Monday morning. Monday morning came around and I havent heard anything from the dealership. At 2pm in the afternoon I decided to call my salesman and his response was "let me go check and I will call you back". When he did call me back he said that the (my) vehicle had been sold "about an hour ago". What the dealership doesnt know is that I monitor my credit, all three reports, and get inquiry notifications in real time. I had one inquiry on Saturday evening, and nothing on Monday morning. Anyone that has ever purchased a vehicle and monitors their credit knows that several inquiries always show up on their reports. I had one. The dealership literally sold the vehicle out from underneath me. We had a deal and was working it. They did not ask for a deposit to hold the vehicle. I have perfect credit and adequate income, so thats not the issue here. I cannot say that I will be back to this store, nor can I recommend them to anyone. If they do respond to my Google rating it will probably be along the lines of another salesman sold it without realizing there was a pending deal in process. This is all on management and they do know exactly whats going on with each vehicle. Every deal comes across their desk to be finalized. Steele (Steal) GMC needs to do better than this! More

Bought a new Yukon on Saturday and the process was seamless. The vehicle started puking coolant out of the overflow when we pulled in the driveway. My 24 yr old son was in Georgetown from Dallas for a wedding and his 2018 Denali started shaking and the check engine light came on. He called Nyle Maxwell and was told he would have to wait 10 days fo wedding and his 2018 Denali started shaking and the check engine light came on. I hope no one there ever has an emergency. Very different level of service from Sewell where we bought the vehicle. More
