Purchased 2018 F150 online sight unseen as I live in WA State. Dealt with Delaine and Tony and was told very nice truck and was a Ford Sales Managers. I was sent a quote that stated the mileage was 7844, but when I received the truck is had just under 11,000 miles on it. The paperwork mailed to me for title and registration purposes in WA State stated it was a repossession, not a Ford Sales Managers truck. So, I contacted Tony and advised it was a repossession he said "Not a repo...lol". However, after talking to Sharon in the office she acknowledged it was in fact a repo. Lastly, was told they had all the keys, but when it arrived they did not have the keys to the cleats in the bed, so they can't be removed. Amazing how I was contacted multiple times until the deal was done...now crickets. Haven't received one email, text, phone call to discuss. Disappointing experience for sure. More

Told them I would drive 2 hours to pick up car Wenesday morning early so have it ready. Tony in sales agreed he would have it ready. On my arrival Wednesday morning 8am the car hadnt even been washed. Wear bars showing on LF tire. Rusty spots from rock chips on doors and hood. Looked under left rear of car and it had (I counted) 33 strips of DUCK TAPE holding rear air shield under and to the rear bumper. Tony and so called Mr Sales Manager said would put a tire on wash and fix chips but WOULDN'T replace the plastic piece. I call Honda when I got back home and retail price of the plastic piece was $67.31.. I emailed Stearns Ford and told them it was sad that they expected me to pay retail price for a car with mismatched tires and held together with DUCK TAPE !! More

Spoke with the Sales Manager Tony prior to driving from Boone saying it would be a wire transfer from Wells Fargo in Idaho (company truck), he said no problem. I rent a car and half-way down the mountain I get a call from Tony saying they can not accept a wire transfer (Red Flag #1, it's a standard business practice), I come anyway to see the truck. Upon arrival I get a salesman for a test drive, when I asked the difference between the XL and XLT he was clueless (Red Flag #2, the F150 is a best seller and I expect the sales person to have some knowledge). After agreeing on the sales price I was told by Tony that I could fill out the paper work and take it home while they wait for the check (OK, if you say so). But wait, then I am told that's not an option and the truck would be delivered on Tuesday (Red Flag #3), it was Friday and I had a Cashiers Check overnighted to the dealer which arrived on Monday morning at 10:30. I get a text, no phone call but a text that the truck might be delivered on Wednesday (next time man up and personally call the person you are screwing). I rented another car the next morning and drove to get the truck as I had NO CONFIDENCE that this dealership could do the right thing. Go somewhere else unless you want to deal with uninformed stereotypical used car salesmanship, I trust politicians more than this bunch. More

Communicated with many dealers and Stearns was the best. Started with Delaine, the internet manager. What stuck out to me was that I asked a lot of the truck and she with no hesitation gave me to another salesman. She said that Theo was the most knowledgeable about trucks. I am used to sales people "owning" me. Second thing was that Theo did get the answers to all of my questions - the right answer not the generic one. Phil, the finance manager gave me all the add ones they usually sell you for extra coverage, etc but didn't make it an ordeal. If you are looking for a dealer with good people, go to Stearns. More
