After purchasing a 2023 used car, I was assured during the closing process that if there were any issues at all to take it to them and they would take care of it. Less than 2 weeks after purchasing the check engine light was on and the vehicle died. I took it to the dealership and they only cleared the codes and did nothing else. Less than a week later I had the same problem. I reached back out and was told to take it to a different dealership since it wasn’t a Ford. I asked why they said they would handle it if I had any issues if they would g actually do anything. That would have influenced my decision to purchase the vehicle had I known they don’t actually intent to follow through. I asked repeatedly for a buy back price and was ignored. It’s my impression now that they knew the vehicle had issues and sold it to me misrepresented. More
