Very poor customer service for my most recent visit. I dropped my car to have the radio replaced, for the second time. Instead of replacing it, they tried an update, which didn’t work, same thing as bef I dropped my car to have the radio replaced, for the second time. Instead of replacing it, they tried an update, which didn’t work, same thing as before which I had already explained before I made the appt. I had to coordinate a ride to drop/pick up and borrow a car in order to drop mine off so I didn’t have to take time out of work. I booked an oil change as well since it was in the repair shop. When the service rep called me to pick up my car, he told me they completed the oils change but they needed to order the radio and it would take a few days. I tried explaining that I had already informed the initial rep that I needed the radio replace and that she said nothing to me about them just updating the system cause I would have explained that this had already happened and the update didn’t work. He then went on to tell me a multitude of repairs my car would need including rubber bushings. He spoke so quickly that I had to ask him to repeat himself over and over. He kept talking over me to the point I had to pause and ask him if I could ask him a question, twice because he talked over me the first time. I asked if the repair would be covered and was told in order to find out, I would need to commit to having it repaired. When I asked him the cost, he told me $895. And then persisted to tell me that he was almost certain, up to 90% sure that it would be covered. But couldn’t say 100% that it was covered. I felt like I was getting swindled rather than informed. When I got off the phone, the nurse that I work with looked at me, took a deep breath and said “boy I’m frustrated for you”. Then, this service representative told me that the repair department was open until six and sales was open till seven. He informed me if I didn’t pick my car up by six he would pass the keys on to the sales department and I could pick my keys up there. When we went to pick up my car at 6:40, cause I work 40minutes from the dealership, the keys were not in the sales department. They weren’t initially going to give or get my keys, but my boyfriend insisted that they get the keys, so they did. Now I have to coordinate another day of borrowing someone’s car and figuring out rides to and from the dealership so that I can have my initial repair done. This is pretty bad customer service by more than one agent. I should’ve been informed from the beginning that it wouldn’t be repaired the day I dropped it off. I should’ve been informed they were only going to try to update it. If there was another location within an hour of me that is where I would go for my next visit. I don’t have another choice at this point and feel very frustrated to have to go back there. Unfortunately this is not my first bad experience with this dealership. I am on my second Subaru Forrester and without going into details, had a bad experience, trying to buy my 2nd Forrester through this dealership. I ended up driving to Brockton for it. Very disappointed. More
