Jim Williams was a very wise salesman. He allowed me to take a new car for a test ride for the entire day. I picked up my wife for lunch and my kids from school. They absolutely loved the car, which made my decision to buy very easy. Later when I dropped off the car, there was no pressure by anyone. The next day, I called him, to begin negotiations. When we agreed on terms, he emailed me a form which I completed and emailed back. An hour later we drove to the dealership and 99% of the paperwork was done and waiting on us. We didn't have to spend hours haggling and waiting for approvals in the dealership. We were in and out. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend Stateline Fiat and Jim Williams to everyone! Steve Peterson More

A price was agreed upon on the car.Then,the extra "required" charges began to appear...like $499.00 for a "millinium package" for insured paint appearance on a 7 year old car. I told them that I didn't want it but the saleslady insisted that it was required on all of their cars. After signing the loan papers,I realized that there in fine print it said that it was not a requirement to purchase the package.When I complained to the management,I was basically told.."hey ...sorry but you already signed it.No buyers remorse in S.C. Have a good day".Up until that moment,I would have been a repeat customer soon.That car was for my son. I also had my eye on a new SUV for myself.It will still happen,but not at StateLine. P.S. Now you're going to throw in another $600.00 to "file" the documents? Didn't take long to get you "discount" money money back did it? More
Excellent buying experience and I've been around a bit. James did a fine job explaining the pros/cons of the potential vehicle. Certainly this was the best experience we have had when buying a car. When we arrived we were greeted personally by the manager Jason. Then Emilio took over and was terrific. He had all the necessary information, was a delightful man, and even gave us some of his artisan home-made bread that was delicious. The price negotiation was fair and painless. Joe made the paperwork easy to go through. The whole experience was designed to facilitate the experience of buying a car There were no long delays. I was fairly nervous about purchasing my first new car—car salesmen don't have the best reputation, after all. I felt like I had to be on the lookout for surprises, tricks, and distortions. I am pleased to say that Stateline Fiat exceeded my expectations. The experience was low pressure, accommodating, and as painless as buying a car could be. I had been to visit the dealership back in June to test drive cars. Jason and Jevone stayed in touch with me via email, but not intrusively so. When I was ready to buy this month, I sent Jason an email with the specs of the Fiat 500 I wanted. They didn't have an exact match on the lot, but they had one that could be customized, or the option of waiting 2.5 months and having one custom built. I appreciated that he wasn't trying to force whatever they had on the lot as-is on me. One of the greatest features of the 500 is the personalization, after all! When I came to the dealership a few days later to make the purchase, all of the numbers matched exactly with what Jason had emailed to me. There were no bad surprises. The sales rep, Jevone, was extremely personable, and business manager Joe was able to clearly explain the parts of the process I found confusing. All the staff at Stateline were friendly and helpful and I didn't feel pressured. Wilfredo Belen greeted me when I arrived on the lot and he was friendly and knowledgeable about the vehicle. Manager Mike Domer handled the price and financing negotiations directly with me. He was fair, honest, and a pleasure to deal with.
