Beware of shady salesman Dan Buddin and General Manager Allison. Dan said he would remove the brake system on my trade in but after the sale he refused to do so. I’m out $1200 as a result. Allison. We used the KBB instant cash offer to try and sell our car. I made an appointment with Stayeline Chrysler, Dodge, etc and was told someone would get in touch with me. 3 days later, I called them right bef car. I made an appointment with Stayeline Chrysler, Dodge, etc and was told someone would get in touch with me. 3 days later, I called them right before my appointment because no one had reached out. They claimed I had no appointment but to come on in anyway. We got there and they offered us HALF of what KBB said our car was worth as an instant cash offer. On KBB they were actually listed as a dealership ready to pay the amount listed or something close to it, not HALF! They told us there was no way they could sell our car unless $3k worth of work was done to it. What an absolute waste of time. We went down the street to a different dealership who reached out to me because of my inquiries on KBB (and I hadn't even made an appointment) and sold my car for the EXACT amount listed with the KBB instant cash offer. The salesman was giddy that we accepted the amount listed with KBB. Easiest sell ever. So, not only did the Stateline dealership call me a liar (said I had no appointment) but they said my awesome car was junk, then proceeded to waste my time and give me the run around like the typical “used car dealer” when nothing was wrong with my car at all. Not only did they lose a great car to sell, they’ve lost a future customer. It’s like they don’t even understand the fundamentals of customer service and basic human decency. If you have too much inventory, just say that. Don’t waste mine and everyone else’s time using the KBB instant cash offer, when you have no plans to be a decent human and follow through with it. I always knew Dodge’s were junk but geez. Have some self respect and at least be kind to people. More
My car was scheduled for service, after waiting months for the needed part to arrive. I was given a rental car to drive while the service was being completed. After 3 days of my car sitting in the garage, for the needed part to arrive. I was given a rental car to drive while the service was being completed. After 3 days of my car sitting in the garage, with NO work completed, I received a message that the part they needed was broken. The part is now on back order. No estimation as to when the part will arrive. I drove a rental car for 4 days, postponed a trip due to not wanting to take the rental out of town, all for zero service. The dealership then said they were going to clean my car before I picked it up. The car was not cleaned in any way. My car (less than 2 years old) has been needlessly broken for months now. No compensation was offered at all. Do not buy a car here and certainly do not visit the service department if you have a choice. More
Everyone at Stateline was very polite and professional. They were prepared for us which allowed us to move through the entire purchase process without any issues. They were prepared for us which allowed us to move through the entire purchase process without any issues. More
I think the service team does the best they can with the management or organization causing most of the confusion. I know my service writer really wants to do a good job for me when I come in. management or organization causing most of the confusion.
