Purposely Misleading and Unethical I made sure to do all the footwork ahead of time including financing. I was emailed specific payments and rates so that I could be in and out as efficiently as possible. I am 9 months pregnant and am looking to replace my jeep. I made sure to triple check with the "Sales Associate" to be sure that these rates were locked. I was told yes pending final bank approval. 1 day later, I arrived for my appointment only to be handed off to the real Sales Associate. Apparently she makes her money scheduling appts. After spending 2 hours there I was told that I was approved for half of what I needed to purchase the car. When I asked about the obvious mix up, I was told that if she emailed me what I said she emailed me, it's illegal to do so. I forwarded all of those emails to the GM and yet she still works there. They also took a deposit from me which they have yet to refund. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. More
Anywhere But Here! Pro's: Dealing with both Bob Slopak and service advisor Matthew Houghton., both GREAT people whom value the customer! CONS: FINANCE DEPT - Changed Pro's: Dealing with both Bob Slopak and service advisor Matthew Houghton., both GREAT people whom value the customer! CONS: FINANCE DEPT - Changed financing bank from an already approved bank local to me to another NOT local. I'm sure offered better dealer kickback. There reasoning was because the second bank offers online services to the customer. What an insult to think I would buy this excuse. Then the kicker to not recognize my Common Law Marriage on my wife gifting her trade to myself purchasing her a new vehicle, although recognized in my own state. The result was a loss of $200. tax credit. SERVICE MANAGER (Ron Letourneau) - Although the vehicle was new the rotors were rust pitted requiring replacement. When I picked up the vehicle I had noticed a defective rotor being it had a large deep score mark. Ron attempted to assure me the defect or damage would not affect the performance of the brake rotor. Unknown to him I have repaired many of vehicles over my lifetime and well aware a smooth rotor surface was imperative. Once convinced to replace the defective part I shared my disappointment from the very beginning of purchase. His reply was the front staff have nothing to do with his service dept. I myself work for a top 100 company and know for certainty that EVERY member of EVERY department is in whole a team achieving one primary goal. Customer Satisfaction! In my opinion it's service advisor Matthew Houghton whom should be the service manager. Final Thoughts: Although I will NOT recommend any friends or family EVER purchase from this dealership, I will however consider any further service needed based solely on my interactions with Matthew. Unfortunately only One star ALL around because of one dept and another dept's manager reflected badly on the entire company in whole. More

Avoid service at al costs Brought my Jeep Wrangler in because it had three fault icons on. They replaced A Wheel sensor. One month later the faults were back. They replaced the Brought my Jeep Wrangler in because it had three fault icons on. They replaced A Wheel sensor. One month later the faults were back. They replaced the sensor again. Two months later the sane faults came on. This time they claim they can't find the problem and sent me on my way without doing any work on it. So I paid to have a problem fixed that I still have and Somerset Jeep will not repair it or refund my money. If you need a Jeep worked on find some place else. More
Stay Away from Service I bought my Patriot from Tarbox Jeep before it closed. Being from the Southcoast area I decided to use Somerset Jeep for my service. Even though get I bought my Patriot from Tarbox Jeep before it closed. Being from the Southcoast area I decided to use Somerset Jeep for my service. Even though getting repairs done at a dealership always costs a bit more I have felt it is worth it the knowledge and skill of the mechanics to my specific vehicle. For approximately seven years I had almost all of my service done at Somerset Jeep from oil changes to repairs that ranged anywhere from $250 to over a $1,000. I always felt I was treated well and the work was quality until I purchased a set of junk tires and had a part replaced in the arm (sorry I am a chick, lol). Originally my issue was the quality of the alignment, steering and feel after the repair (drifting and shake). When I called to state that I was still having an issue I was met with an instant attitude. I was shocked, as with previous management I always had such a great experience. After arguing and insisting they diagnose the issue for free I was told my tires with less than 25,000 miles needed to be replaced. When I informed them that I had recently purchased the tires from them the story changed for a bit and then was met with complete resistance and unwillingness to help me. At first I got sorry, Good Year really has no warranties you will have to look it up on your own, then to replacing Good Year Wranglers with less than 30,000 miles is common, to being called a liar when I stated how long my first set of Good Year Wranglers lasted. I was even more insulted when I informed the manager that I had done all of my service there from day one when Tarbox sent an extra key for me to that location and he further called me a liar by saying that would never happen. My guess is the previous managers I dealt with were professionals that networked in order to ultimately make a customer happy. Obviously this doofus knows nothing of that. After literally spending thousands of dollars there I switched service centers in a heartbeat. I was happy to give my business to dealership that earns it (despite the money I lost for the bad repair and tires)- my only regret is not writing this review sooner. Somerset Jeep service you stink! I would never go back I tried to buy a Dodge Ram truck in October and looked through 20 vehicles picked one ,was to take it for a test drive then they said I couldnt ,becau I tried to buy a Dodge Ram truck in October and looked through 20 vehicles picked one ,was to take it for a test drive then they said I couldnt ,because the electric company had bought all the models that I was interested in.they tried to get me in the big horn model even though I said I just wanted the basic Ram like my previous 3 RAMs.they told me they would call other dealers to get me what I wanted.after 3 more 20 mile trips back to the dealer.they kept promising they had found one ,then the price would change because they would juggle the numbers and jack it up thousands but have a lower payment.( like I can't do the math)they even had me leave a 500 dollar deposit to show my good faith.which I did but after they kept jerking me around for weeks I decided to go to a differnt dealer.i had a heck of a time getting the deposite back because they couldn't get me the truck I wanted at the agreed upon price and payment.they wouldn't put the deposit in the mail but made me drive 20 miles there again to try AGAIN to sell me a truck.HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE there! Went to another dealer and had the truck I wanted for the price I wanted in 1 day. More
Bad Dealership repair They do not, I REPEAT they do not backup their work or guarantee it. They replaced my rear rotors because of severe vibrations, Took it in again they They do not, I REPEAT they do not backup their work or guarantee it. They replaced my rear rotors because of severe vibrations, Took it in again they replaced the front this time. Took it in for the third time for same reasons and they claim it is out of warranty. Warranty has nothing to do with it, it is their work they screwed up, they should honor it, I say honor, what they did, and what they did is obviously pour work, workmanship, refuse to replace their rotors, etc, etc. They now use the excuse that it is the operator and the way they use the brakes, if that is so how is it on the internet they have (all dealers) been complaining the rotors are faulty equipment out of Mexico and China.
