Stephen is by far one of the best Car Salesmen we have ever had the pleasure in dealing with. And I hesitate to call him a Salesman, because even though we were looking to buy a vehicle from him, we neve ever had the pleasure in dealing with. And I hesitate to call him a Salesman, because even though we were looking to buy a vehicle from him, we never got any of the pressured antics like most other dealerships. It felt more like a BBQ and drinking beer setting except we were surrounded by Aston Martins. NICE!! We talked more about past marriages, future marriages and our kids than we did about the vehicle itself. Although, he was extremely knowledgeable about the truck we were buying and and the previous owner. And I have to give him xxxxxxfor the James Dean photo in his office with "Little xxxxxxx". You just can't not like a guy who loves the classics. We purchased our HUGE Chevy from him and we love it. Stephen was very personable and we would definitely deal with him again. Since moving from Europe to Houston I have spent quite some time visiting a large number of dealerships from Houston to San Antonio to Austin trying to find the right Porsche sports car for me, my needs, some time visiting a large number of dealerships from Houston to San Antonio to Austin trying to find the right Porsche sports car for me, my needs, my wishes and my wallet. I am highly interested in cars, their design and their specifications, but all of my previous experience are linked to family or SUV style cars from BMW and Audi. Therefore, I did my homework on the Porsche 911 prior to visiting the dealerships. Generally speaking, however, very few of the sales people I have spoken to over the last year have been much interested in listening to me and having an honest discussion on what might be the RIGHT 911. UNTIL I came across Starwood Motors and Chris Burch! At first, I had a long and very informative talk over the phone with Chris about buying a used Porsche 911 seen from my perspective. And he listened carefully. Then I asked a very good friend of mine working in Dallas to drop by Starwood, talk to Chris and take a real good look at 3 different 911's up for sale and do the "smell test"! He had a great time together with Chris, and basically told me afterwards that Chris' main concern is trying to help me find the RIGHT car, and not just sell me any car. The process behind buying a car is important for me in finding THE RIGHT car. It is all about homework, honest and open discussions with highly competent sales people genuinely interested in their cars - and the "good vibrations". For me Starwood Motors with Chris and Phyllis and their colleagues was a perfect match! I can highly recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking for genuine comments, recommendations and an amazing sales experience. I bought a 2008 Corvette ZO6 from a salesman and real gentleman named CHRIS BURCH. I have never bought a car on ebay before and was a little gun shy about it as this was a big purchase for me. I have been looking at ZO6's for about 4 years and when I saw this car I really couldn't believe what I was reading. I though it may have been a typo error as it had less than 2500 miles on it. So I called and left a message with Chris Burch late on a Thursday night and he returned my call the following morning. I would like to think I'm a car guy with some knowledge of American muscle cars as well as a few European Super-cars, but I was blown away with the knowledge Chris had regarding my (now ZO6). Chris has owned Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, Corvette's as well as other American Muscle Cars. The reason I had an excellent buying experience with Starwood Motors is because I had an excellent experience with Chris Burch. Along with his knowledge of cars he has excellent people skills and is not pushy in anyway which I really appreciated. If you buy from Starwood Motors Chris Burch is the guy you need to ask for. I found my dream car a Porsche 996 Turbo on Ebay Motors for a price I was suspect of. When I saw the dealer representing the car I immediately became even more excited knowing Starwood was a premium exoti for a price I was suspect of. With that said I trusted my salesman's (Steve Rosenkrantz) every word regarding the car. I asked him to drive the car as it was intended to be used and offer his unbiased opinion of what he found. The experience was everything I had hope it would be "Flawless". Even though I live just outside of Atlantic City NJ over 3,000 miles away from this dealer and I never did visit the dealer or the see the car before sending my cashiers check for the purchase I would never consider purchasing another exotic car without first conferencing with Mr. Rosenkrantz. I would certainly never purchase such a vehicle without seeing it or driving it from any private owner via E Bay motors as well.
