f your having to service your vehicle stay away from this dealer! My 2018 Chevy Colorado Zr2 had a check engine light come on after stalling and shutting off 3 times with no power to the wheels. Had it tow dealer! My 2018 Chevy Colorado Zr2 had a check engine light come on after stalling and shutting off 3 times with no power to the wheels. Had it towed to Starling with an appointment on a Monday and couldn't get a call back or status going on 3 days. Had to have my truck picked up from a Tow company and taken to another Dealer for repair. This place and their service department is giving Chevy a bad name. More
Stay away if your vehicle needs service. Complete waste of time on finding solution to a common problem with 2020 Chevrolet Trucks (trailer lighting). I am hesitant if I will even allow these people to change my oil at this point. Complete joke. Go to Hendricks or Dick Smith if you have any real issues. More
I've requested the additional warranty to be canceled well over a year ago and to date I keep getting the runaround. Calling consistently does no good and to date still no resolution! They went as fa well over a year ago and to date I keep getting the runaround. Calling consistently does no good and to date still no resolution! They went as far as to try and sell me a car without resolving my current long lasting issue- told them that I would not be doing business with them again and that it's poor business practice for me to have to keep calling wasting my time to get nowhere. I will be contacting the Department of Consumer Affairs and any other agency I can get involved in resolving my issue. We should be able to bill them for the amount of time spent trying to get them to do a simple task that should've been done over a year ago. Simply will not do business with them again & they could have gotten another sale from me because I'm in the process of buying a new vehicle. More
Don't know what they are doing!! If it isn't 'reset' then you don't get correct diagnostic information about your car in the monthly e-mails from Onstar. Even though the car was just serviced here, I just got an e-mail "There is an issue requiring action" with the "Engine & Transmission Sytem" so either they failed to do something that needed doing, or they didn't reset the Onstar communication system - so now I have to waste the time to take the car in AGAIN to see which is the case! Did this owner hire a bunch of people who don't know anything????? More
Awesome Experience! I honestly wish I worked with this dealership since day one with this car! We had such a bad experience working with the service center at the origina I honestly wish I worked with this dealership since day one with this car! We had such a bad experience working with the service center at the original dealership that we leased this vehicle at, that I was personally ready to abandon General Motors for any future car purchases. All that being said, this dealership's service center has certainly earned my trust. From pinpointing the problem, to providing us with a loaner vehicle while it was being worked on, to actually being able to speak to the technician that performed the service after the work was complete, it has been a genuine pleasure. Thanks MP Chevy. You've restored our faith in the brand! More

I took it in for an oil change which over an hour to have done no issues that time. Then it was time to have the oil changed again called to make an appt because that is what they prefer you do, to only be told on three different times the service dept was busy and someone would call me back. Never recd a call back to make that appt. fast forward 6 months, recd coupon on the mail for a 6 qt full synthetic oil change and tire rotation for $49.95. I called made the appt (no trouble this time). Showed up for my appt informed Steven in service that I was pretty sure my car took 7 qts and to let me know the price for the 7th at as I will gladly pay for the 7th qt. 1 1/2 hours later my car is done. Was told by Steven after he looked at the work order and he said looks like your car only took 6 qts. Ok sounds good paid and left. Drove from mt p to North Charleston and when I got home my car was ticking, um no tick when you got it should not be a tick now. Called them talked to Randy informed him that I have a 5.7 hemi and it needed 7 (after googling) he said bring it back and I will top it off for free. Showed up they took my car around back to investigate 25 mins later (does not take that long to check oil and top off) he came back and said that they put in 7 but only charged for 6 and he waited for the oil to drain back from the engine into the pan and it was at the full mark on the stick. Ok thank you, walked out to check it myself and guess what I found the oil was not showing on the stick like it was suppose to it was barely touching the first line. And if anyone knows that is the need to add more oil line. Informed him that the car needed more oil. Randy then said we need to let it sit for at least ten mins to get a true reading on the oil....... 30 mins later we still reading the same oil line, so I told him I did not bring it in here with a tick I was not leaving with a tick and he needed to add oil to my car. He came out with 1/2 quart of oil and added that to the car. We are now reading oil 1/2 way between need to add and full. Advised him that was not full and needed to add more. He left got the shop foreman, who preceded to tell me that was normal readings for a dodge, ummmmm no I may be a woman but I have been checking my own oil for years and my husband is a diesel mechanic so I know where the oil should be and he needed to add oil to my car to get rid of the tick that I did not have when I brought it to him. After another 10 mins of let's stand around and wait for the oil to drain back from the engine (does not take 45 mins to get a reading) they finally add another 1/2 qt of oil to my car and guess what we are full now. Simply doing what they were suppose to do this morning and make me pay for the extra qt and actually put that qt in this would not have been a problem at all. That is shady xxx work and I will not be taking any of my cars there anymore. I work too hard to have someone who clearly does not know what they doing for an oil change work on my stuff again...... Pleasant Chevrolet, I felt compelled to express my experience. Due to my own negligence, and while traveling, my oil indicator light came on, warning me that I was way past due for an oil change. I pulled into Mt. Pleasant Chevrolet, and my initial experience walking through the door wasn't all that pleasureable. The two Service Writers had customers sitting in front of them, and as I waited for less than a minute for either of them to acknowledge my presence, a Manager approached me by the name of Shawn Couch. He welcomed to the dealership and informed me that one of them will be ale to assist me momentarily. I informed Mr. Couch that I did not have an appointment, and after expressing my dilemma, he simply said, "No problem sir, I'm sure we will be able to work you in and get you back on the road shortly." He also informed me that as part of an oil change, they also do a courtesy tire rotation as well as a courtesy wash. Mr. Couch did indicate that if I took advantage of those courtesies, that they would add to my wait time. He even took the time to get me a cup of coffee, and though that may not seem like a big deal, but to me, I've never had a Manager of a dealership do that, and I have owned numerous vehicles over the years. I then met James Gilliam, who was super friendly and took my order. He kept me informed of the progress of my vehicle while I waited in their waiting room. In just a little over an hour, I was a bit surprised when James approached me and said my car was ready. My car was embarrassingly filthy when I arrived, but it was spotless when I got back in it. Words simply cannot express my gratitude to their Clean-Up Dept., cause they definitely added that extra "WOW" factor to my visit. Their follow-up is by far the best I have ever had the honor of being involved with. James sent me a text thanking me for stopping in, and the following day I received a phone call from Mr. Couch asking me how the rest of my travel went, and then asked me how my experience was while visiting Mt. Pleasant Chevrolet. We spoke for a short while, and he spoke to me about the random survey General Motors might send to me via my email. I explained to Mr. Couch that I do not participate in surveys, and he did not push the issue any further, and thanked me again for visiting them. A few days later, I received a letter from James Gilliam, again thanking me for visiting their dealership, and it was then that I decided that this would be the one time I would actually look forward to filling out the survey. Being Completely Satisfied truly isn't good enough, because I was overwhelmed with their desire to exceed any and every expectation I ever thought of concerning customer service. In fact, I spoke with the General Manager at the dealership where I live, and I expressed to him that he really needed to send some of his employees to Mt. Pleasant Chevrolet for Customer Service Training. One visit with them, and I was spoiled. Would I recommend this dealership? Without a second of hesitation, absolutely yes! More
