So after leaving a massage with the Manager about an update on my part no response after a week. Called the speak to the Director of the service department I get a call from a Advisor l. How professional is to send a Advisor that I requested a phone call from the director. please I’m begging you don’t buy or get your car serviced here. Worst Dealer I will make sure not to take my truck here again I would Rather wait again for my part to come at another dealer that cares about there customers. More
Took my 2011 GMC Terrain to this dealership to have the a/c fixed. I was on vacation at the time in Florida and temps were in the mid to upper 80’s and low 90’s. This dealer kept my vehicle for a week, rep a/c fixed. I was on vacation at the time in Florida and temps were in the mid to upper 80’s and low 90’s. This dealer kept my vehicle for a week, replaced a condenser, control valve and burned through 3 compressors before charging me $1,037 For a repair that didn’t last 24 hours before the a/c blew hot air again. By this time it was time to drive home. I asked Ron Cella for some type of monetary compensation for the incompetence of this dealership and inconvenience it caused me and I have received nothing for my $1,037 expense. Do not do business with this dealership. Find yourself a competent mechanic and save yourself a lot of money and headaches. More
Went in for an 1st oil change and lube under warranty...Javier told us an hour and 2 1/2 hours later, we got our keys. Service lied to our faces and said tires were rotated, tire pressure monit warranty...Javier told us an hour and 2 1/2 hours later, we got our keys. Service lied to our faces and said tires were rotated, tire pressure monitors checked (this is a 2019 dually so neither of those things were done as we watched on the cameras as it was serviced). I had washed the truck before I took it in and got it back with spilt DEF all over the engine compartment and greasy handprints and fingerprints all over the outside drivers door and hood. Didn’t lube the front steering components and didn’t get washed as they stated would be done. Wasted 2 1/2 hrs of vacation time getting this done...I have had multiple diesel duallys and know how long it takes to change oil. This was ridiculous and a complete waste of time. Service called next day for satisfaction rating and girl said the service manager would call based on my complaints. Still waiting.... More

Service department might want to change their name. Went to the service department to get an electrical problem checked out. They called on the 2nd day to say it was one of the batteries. I said chang Went to the service department to get an electrical problem checked out. They called on the 2nd day to say it was one of the batteries. I said change it. Service guy said ok, have it ready for pickup in an hour. I didn't get there until the next day during my lunch from work, to find out that they never fixed the truck. So to make a long story short I had to wait about an hour to get it done. Loosing money because I should have been AT WORK. So the service department should be called the NO service department. At least give me a coupon for an oil change or something for wasting my time.....nothing Wont be back, I will drive an extra 20 minutes to another chevy dealer where I know I get treated right. More
Ask for JAVIER! I brought my 2014 Silverado in for a 15,000 mile service. I made an appt. in advance (which I highly recommend all vehicle owners do at any dealership I brought my 2014 Silverado in for a 15,000 mile service. I made an appt. in advance (which I highly recommend all vehicle owners do at any dealership.) Javier checked me in and I showed him two different 15k mile coupons I had printed out for this location. I asked him for his advice on which service I should get. He asked me a few questions and told me I didn't need to go for the high performance service which was more expensive. An hour and fifteen minutes later he checked on my truck and explained all was well except the cabin air filter. It had evidence of a rodent and he recommended I replace it and of course I agreed. That only took fifteen more minutes and Javier showed me the old filter with pieces of chewed foam that had fallen on it! He explained my bill and he searched for and applied a ten dollar off coupon for the filter replacement service. I paid the bill, thanked Javier and asked for a manager to compliment him. Noel was very happy to speak with me and proud to receive the high praise I had for Javier who Noel had trained. Then Noel gave me great advice on how to deter rodents. We went outside to my truck and he showed me where on each inside wheel that rats jump up and get inside. (If you live anywhere near water, even a retention pond you've got rats outside.) Noel told me to get a lot of mothballs and put in four breathable bags and each evening place behind and inside each tire where they jump up to get inside. Noel explained this might sound like a lot of trouble to do and undo each day but if rats chew up the wires it can cost up to five thousand dollars to replace them all. So, I am happy with Starling overall and Javier and Noel in particular and I will be back! They have given me confidence in Starling (this was my first experience with them) and I will buy my next vehicle here! And they washed my truck which was covered in love bugs! Incredible service, thank you again. More
BE WARNED ABOUT THIS DEALERSHIP, SALES AND SERVICE! *****VERY LONG POST BE WARNED ABOUT THIS DEALERSHIP****** I am writing this review for future buyers and anyone seeking service at this dealership. Ma *****VERY LONG POST BE WARNED ABOUT THIS DEALERSHIP****** I am writing this review for future buyers and anyone seeking service at this dealership. Many of the great reviews are given because they offer a free tank of gas for good reviews after purchase. Look at the low ratings and you will find the real info. I purchased a 2015 Sonic back in 2015 with 13 miles on it and it has been nothing but trouble ever since. Not to mention the car buying process was extremely stressful at this dealership with their sleazy, pushy, deceptive internet salesman. Later I found out that I paid way too much (the same price as a small truck or SUV) and now it has a lot of negative equity. I made the huge mistake of purchasing this car two weeks after I buried my mum in a different state and was spending a lot of money for a couple of months of rentals while my mother was making her transition. To add insult to injury, in December my car that was I’d had since 2004 was hit by a speeding driver and completely totaled making this process of buying a new car unavoidable. This was before my mum’s passing and the dealership was aware of this. I should have not made this type of important decision after my devastating loss. My father bought most of my cars in a different state, but I thought this would be an easy process for me to do alone (Huge Mistake). So, much of my family’s life was turned upside down during that time. Either something was recalled on this car or something else was wrong and was covered by the warranty in the first two years. This vehicle has had constant issues and deeply regret buying this vehicle and from this dealership. So far to date at the very least, I have replaced the engine mounts, transmission mounts, the radiator fan twice, the pigtail, the resister, The thermostat, battery swelled, thermostat housing twice, t-pipe, ( a/c was out for six months, the electric on the steering wheel went out, all the hoses replaced (some twice), MyLink recall and it has never worked right since. I do not drive this car on the highway at all and I am very calculated in my daily travel to work. There are other items that have also been replaced or repaired and now it is making other noises. One of many issues with this dealership is the repeated lack of respect for your time and the fact they do not care about your safety as far as the accurate repair of your vehicle. Every time I brought my car in for an oil change (usually for 2-3 hours) there was an issue or needed some type of repair. Back in August, I scheduled an oil change (over 3 hours wait) before I drove my kid off to college the next day. On the way there on the highway the a/c went out and the coolant was very low. We had to stop in some small town to find coolant at a Walmart. They clearly did not check anything with the over three hours I was there, except to try and sell me $600 worth of tires. I have spent over 30 hours of PTO at this dealership since December and was never offered a loaner on any of my service visits. I wish I could have spent it on a much need vacay with my kid, especially after dealing with this car. I was always asked to give 5 star reviews or to just not do the survey if I was not happy. At the end of December, I was told (after I started questioning my repairs) at the dealership I was told my t-pipe had to be replaced because it was grey, the hoses, and clamps needed to be replaced because they are swollen, thermostat and housing replaced because it was loose or bad. Clearly, they repeatedly insulted my intelligence and constant disregard for my car concerns was infuriating. The next visit my kid came home from college and even spent her entire 22 birthday with me at the dealership. We arrived at 7:30 AM and did not leave until after 4 PM. It was supposed to be a simple fix I was told (engine, transmission mounts, hoses and something else). I did have to come back again after that because they said they did not have the last engine mount to complete the job. I was supposed to be called and of course, this never happened although I requested several times to be updated on when the part would be in because I have to drive almost an hour to get there. The scheduled time that I came in I was there for 6 hours and they had not even looked at my car and told my kid (not me) that the part was defective. I was with a salesman who wanted to get me to buy another vehicle. Did not seem the harm at the time to look. This seems to be a common tactic that they use. Instead of dealing with difficult repairs they try and get you into another car. Came back to service and nothing was done, and no one told me anything except they had to order the part because it malfunctioned. So, another work day missed, and the gas used. I was told to go back to the bank that I have my loan to get approved there for a Buick used car that they found. It could have been the perfect car. I did that, and the loan officer asked as to why I wanted to purchase another car. He questioned the history of the car and where they “found “this car. When he found out which dealership he advised me not to go back and look at another dealership. He said that it did not matter where just go someplace else based on previous experiences some of his clients have had there. He informed me that if I had a terrible buying process, the amount owed and so many issues with this car, why to trust that this car would not be the same. Prior to my bank visit, I was told by the dealership to give them the car payment instead of the bank as a down payment. I found out that I could not do that by the lender and would still have to pay. He also informed me to pay off items on my credit to get a better rate ( a lot of debt from settling expenses during and after my mother’s death and funeral payments) I was disappointed but, looking back I am extremely grateful that he did that. I also pay my car payment and insurance every single month on time! So, after waiting over three weeks for an update on the part I heard nothing from the dealership. I even called, and no one called back. So, I called the parts department and asked if they had the parts in stock and for how long. They informed me that they had it for almost three weeks. I asked to be transferred to the service department and the clerk answered. I asked for someone in their corporate office and she informed me that they did not have one. She then scheduled me for my vehicle to come in. That was another day taken off work. When I asked to use my warranty for the other work that needed to do he called before closing at 6. He was very upset with me that he was on the phone with my warranty company for a long time and said he will never deal with them because it took too much time. I then became furious and told him how many days, long hours and PTO that used dealing with this dealership and they have wasted my time and my car had not been fixed properly. I reminded him that the last three visits he was told my car still overheated and nothing was done. I also recapped that I spent my kid’s birthday and he knew about it. I spoke to the warranty company and the dealership wanted me to pay over $100 more than what the warranty company paid for the part and my deductible plus tax. The warranty company was very nice and made a ticket for me to go somewhere else. I took my car to a family owned autobody shop in Apopka. They took the warranty, kept me updated on my repairs all day, they were very professional, and my car was ready the next morning. They also informed me that the resistor was not checked by the dealership and the burned pigtail was held together with radiator fan by a zip tie. My car still overheated after that. The autobody shop said bring it back in. Ironically, another location in St cloud emailed me about a car that I had inquired about online. Being so frustrated, angry and upset with Starling, I vented. The guy on the phone was so nice and asked me to bring my car in. I drove an hour and a half to get to him. I arrived, and he was waiting outside for me. I told him how afraid I am of this car. He could not find ANY service records for this car and I looked on Carfax and nothing was there. He took all my concerns seriously and offered me a loaner to get to work so I did not take off any more time. I drove an hour and fifty minutes to work. Before that, I stopped at the Kissimmee location and asked for the service records and was met with hostility and was told it should be on my receipts. I was told that the service manager there managed both locations when he realized I was at the other location. I became very angry and demanded my service records, so I can show my employer as to why I take so many days off. I also told him that the review I will write is not going to be good and he replied ok. My boss thought that I purchased a used car and I had to inform him that it was purchased new. My car and its issues are a running joke in my office and they always ask me where I purchased this car from. I do not have a problem telling anyone and everyone to avoid this dealership. The St cloud service kept me updated and informed me that it was the thermostat and hoses that needed to be replaced. I had to tell him that it was replaced at the other location he was so apologetic and replaced them. So, clearly they never did the work or the technicians are incompetent. Now there is something else wrong with my car and I do not have the emotions, energy, money or anything more to deal with this again. I have contacted Chevy more than once and Starling never responded to them or me, even when my a/c went out for 6 months. I literally pray when I get into my car and this car brings me extreme anxiety and stress. The last car I owned, I had for 11 years and never had any problems except for routine maintenance. When I owned used cars they operated better than this lemon I was sold. I do not sleep well at night worrying about this car, our safety and how much it’s costing me or will cost me. When my daughter comes home from school I can’t go get her because I know it would not make the nearly 10 hour round trip. So, I pay people to bring her home from college, or she will take red coach, greyhound and I rent cars. My other part-time business as a healthcare practitioner has suffered (not profiting at all) because I can’t drive long distances to reach my clients and I am afraid it will leave me stranded somewhere. Recently, I had to delay my start date of 7 months for a doctoral program to drive monthly to south Florida because of this car. I have learned a huge lesson from this dreadful process. This is the first new car that I purchased alone, and I will never do it again. As a single parent with a kid in college, this has taken a huge financial and emotional drain on my family. I am loyal to various brands but, I will never purchase a Chevy again! It is sickening to know that someone who works hard for their money must deal with this poorly made car and this dealership. In the future, summarily: 1. I will never purchase a car without a male relative with me, that knows about buying cars. 2. I will research the dealership, car and customer complaints first before purchasing. 3. Make sure the dealership is certified (i.e. advised by Chevy) Starling is not. 4. When I walk in with my own financing again, I will not switch to theirs. 5. Research the mechanical issues and recalls as far back as 4 years prior to the year I plan to purchase. 6. Look at the low ratings prior to entering the dealership. 7. See how they handle customer complaints on social media and with parent company 8. I will never let a pushy, shady, sleazy salesman push me into a car that I do not want or need again. More

My family and I were in the Orlando area from North Carolina for a trip to Disney World when our '96 Chevy Express van decided to break down. I contacted the service department at Starling Chevrolet and Rafael worked with me to get our van in for diagnostic and repairs even under a busy schedule. It took a couple of days because the part had to be overnighted, but once the part arrived, the repair work was completed very quickly. I feel that Rafael went above and beyond to ensure that the repair work would be taken care of in a timely manner and well in time for us make the trip back to North Carolina. Thanks a bunch to Rafael and also thanks to the Starling Chevrolet Service Department! More
Terrible Service After the Sale We originally drove 40 minutes to buy a car at Starling. Along with the purchase we got 2 free oil changes/car washes. I called for an appointment, an We originally drove 40 minutes to buy a car at Starling. Along with the purchase we got 2 free oil changes/car washes. I called for an appointment, and had to wait 5 days. Today I drove 40 minutes and arrived for my appointment 10 minutes early. I had to wait about 7 minutes for someone to check me in since all but one person was at lunch. I was told it would take an hour to an hour and a half. That alone is totally outrageous for an oil change with an appointment, but when it actually took an hour and fifty minutes from my appointment time to get my car I was furious. No updates were given in that time at all. When my car finally was brought around, it was not washed either. The person working the desk who I told of my displeasure just got out of the car and said "There you go", and walked off. I will not be back for my second oil change/ car wash, and I will never buy another car there. They showed me today how much they care about you after the sale More
