Had an oil leak issue shortly after buying the car. I contacted Starfleet and advised them, and was instructed to have it "looked.at" and we'd go from there. As dealer was an almost 2hour drive away, I went to PEP Boys near my home, who found that seal was leaking oil, and it would cost $300+ to repair. Now, the day I obtained the car and was looking under the hood with the salesman, I saw a small rubber ring that was coated in oil, lying on the fan shroud. When I questioned the salesman he advised it was likely from an oil filter from it being serviced. Now, after the PEP Boys diagnosis, I contacted Starfleet, and after advising of the diagnosis and repair cost, they had a completely different attitude. I was told that it would have to be brought back to Delaware so they could have the car checked out, because-they saud-that they could have it repaired for less than that, and the diagnosis might not be correct. Well, a concrete driveway full of fresh oil spots says different. Not to mention the fact that id have to find someone to follow me there and drive me back to my city AND have someone take me BACK when they were finished with the car. And with the car losing oil, driving a long distance might've caused more damage. I informed them of this and was told there's nothing they could do without seeing the car themselves. They refused to even at least go in half on the repair cost, stating the diagnosis may be wrong. I stated that I'm sure they have a PEP Boys somewhere in their area, and they could have them, or their repair shop and confirm the reason for the leak. They refused. I also left bad Google reviews 3 times, and the dealership had them removed each time. They wouldn't release my title for 2 months, either. I had to threaten to call the state attorney General before the title was finally filed and the temp tags had expired. More
