When we entered the dealership, we looked at the cars on the floor. A young girl asked if we needed assistance and we replied, "Yes." When I told him I wanted to go to Honda to look around, he was disappointed, but very nice about it. He said if we wanted to come back we could make a nice deal. We did go to Honda, but since I really had my heart set on a Camry, we came back to Richard. He wrote us a nice deal for leasing and told us to pick up the car the next day. When we came back today, he introduced us to Jason Kannry, who told us the details of the lease, signed us up for automatic payments and etching of the car. He also was very informative and explained everything about the lease to us. I certainly would recommend Star Toyota to anyone looking for a new car. More

I was very pleased overall with Star Toyota. I had a 2007 Hynudai Sonata and they took that vehicle. I wanted an SUV and gave me a brand new Rav 4. I love my truck. I went to Star Toyota in Bayside, NY to look at the new 4-Runners and the Toyota FJ Cruiser. The pleasant (but busy) lady who greeted me at the door took my name and asked what vehicle I was looking for. O 4-Runners and the Toyota FJ Cruiser. The pleasant (but busy) lady who greeted me at the door took my name and asked what vehicle I was looking for. Once she heard "FJ" she immediately suggested I meet Fred. She told me he was with another customer and asked if I wished to wait for him or would I like her to get me someone else. Curious as to why she first recommended Fred I told her I would wait. In a few minutes, Fred introduced himself, thanked me for waiting, and let me know he would be a while longer with his previous customer and that if I needed anything to have the receptionist page him. Twice I had to wave off other salesmen while I waited but I guess that's their job and they didn't seem upset so I thought "OK cool I can do this!" Since I had time to look around I noticed that the dealership wasn't as "nice and polished" as others I had been to but I saw cars WERE being sold and quite a few too. The staff seemed much more friendly, relaxed and way less formal than the workers at any other dealer I've been to lol. I kinda liked that. Though it seemed more like a family reunion than a showroom that I had walked into, not once did I feel ignored, pressured or uneasy. After about 30 minutes, Fred re-greeted me and asked how he could help me. To make a long story short, it turned out he OWNS and FJ and knows tons about them. He even took me for a ride (and let me drive) HIS personal truck! Gave me a feel for how mine would be if after a couple of years having it. Negotiations were painless as I told him I came to Star via the internet (which he manages) and thus bottom line pricing was offered to me without haggle or hassle. He even showed me the vehicle's invoice price which matched what I had researched so I knew up front how much I was paying (and what they were making). As I write this review (a few weeks after my purchase) I still keep in touch with Fred and Star and hope to go "4-Wheeling" with my FJ soon. First though I need a few upgrades and again, Fred has been very helpful pointing me in the right direction to get the right add-ons at a fair price. Thanks to all the "crazies" at Star Toyota, I had a BLAST in your showroom and I love my new FJ!!! More
