The service center really is a good place but they can not control the body shop which they are turning people's cars over to. More

Excellent service center I took my Subaru into the service center for an oil, lube, filter, etc. Everyone I dealt with did a superb job; the person who signed me up for servic I took my Subaru into the service center for an oil, lube, filter, etc. Everyone I dealt with did a superb job; the person who signed me up for service did so quickly and told me how long the service would take. Ten minutes before my service was finished, I was told how long it would be before they were finished with my car. Finally, I was told in detail what the inspection results revealed. I am very satisfied and will return there for my next service. More
Expect to be taken I have regularly brought my vehicle to Star since it was brand new for service. After my latest interaction I will never return. They informed me that my air filter and cabin filter would require replacement at the next service. They told me this last time as well, so I replaced them about a month ago. They are brand new OEM filters purchased directly from Subaru. I asked to speak to the service manager and was told simply “He’s not here today”. Ok, please take my information and have him call me. I’m not a betting man, but if I was, I’d put my money on; that message never made it beyond the post-it note it was written on.. In short- Is the service department suggesting that Subaru of America is selling defective parts? Or are they trying to make a quick buck off an unsuspecting customer? If they’re saying they inspected the filters and really didn’t, what else did they say they did which ended up not happening (ie- tire rotation) These are questions I have for the service manager which will, seemingly, go unanswered. Either way, I’ll have my vehicle serviced elsewhere from now on. More

Prompt, courteous service Called on the spur of the moment for an oil change. Told to come in that day. They discovered I had a nail in a tire.
