Buying a new car has never been a "user friendly" experience for me but going to Star Nissan and working with Lucus changed all that. I am writing a little late regarding the unpleasant experience I have had dealing with Gabriel Rodriguez, sales consultant at STAR NISSAN, INC. 206-02 Northern Blvd. Bayside, NY 11361. I can understand if he is a new sales consultant and is not informed of all vehicle and finance information to have provided us with information at the time of questions. Perhaps even the training provided for customer service was not accomplished. And he being the middle person for my finance paper work, it was a lack of supervisory on your dealers’ part to allow such inconvenience to me. For the most part, I did my own research prior to going into the showroom. I not only had to reach out to Gabriel, after not hearing from him when he stated he would call regarding the vehicle order status, but for the finance paper work , I had to return to the dealer more than I needed to. On top of that, after the vehicle was delivered, I had to return window sticker because he forgot to retrieve it. All this back and forth was uncalled for, had he known what information he needed he would have made our experience smooth. Fortunately, we get to express ourselves through your survey…BUT even then your sales consultant had the audacity to call me on my cell phone and YELL at me for the score given, and hung up on me. I will make sure all of my friends and family are aware of the awful experience I’ve had with STAR NISSAN and I will also make sure they think twice prior to going to ANY NISSAN for that matter.
