Very Dry! When I entered the service area I was not greeted at all. I had to ask if this is where I need to bring my car for oil change. I told the young lady I did. No one smiled, no one thanked me. I asked how long would it be....about 45 minutes. It was cheaper to get an oil change here but I will go back to Walmart instead. I'm big on customer service and this company is lacking it. No smiles nothing....they must have woke up angry. Not my money. The cashier was very friendly and pleasant. More
Unfortunate Over a week ago I received a call in reference to a vehicle repair. Unfortunately, this call was intended for someone else, because I was not getting Over a week ago I received a call in reference to a vehicle repair. Unfortunately, this call was intended for someone else, because I was not getting my vehicle repaired. I've received more than 4 calls and 5 text since then. Reasons why this is unfortunate: Shortly after I purchased my truck from Star Chevrolet in Wiggins, I had an issue. This issue was brought to the attention of the service department at Star Chevrolet in Wiggins. They checked it out and couldn't "duplicate" the problem. This was relayed to me and I went on my way. The problem persisted, so I brought it back. On this occasion they determined that a tire was out of balance, and said that should fix the problem.... It didn't. So, the last time I visited to get my oil changed l informed them that the problem still existed and that I would leave my vehicle with them so there "technician" could possibly remedy the problem. For 3 days I received ZERO phone calls/text. Frustrated, I called and asked if they had determined anything. The response was quite baffling. " Well, we've actually been really busy and our technician hasn't been able to drive your truck. When he gets back from lunch I'll have him take it for a drive." Mind you, they have had my truck for 3 days!!!!! The afternoon of the 4th day.... Still no calls or text....I called them. They informed me that the "technician" was unable to duplicate the problem. I asked," have you even looked under the hood?" Her response,"no, we did diagnostics and everything seems fine." Moral of the story: 1) Mechanics are important... GET ONE!!!! 2) Your "technicians" are laughable at best. 3) One lady at the front desk always seem exhausted by questions and very rude. 4) It's get to know that Star Chevrolet in Wiggins can contact people about there vehicle repair. (I didn't get this courtesy) 5) One salesman has been at the brunt end of this story a few times... Unfortunately! Other than those few things, have a wonderful and blessed weekend! More

Transmission service Very pleased with Tammy, Tim and the rest of the service staff. They had to rebuild the transmission in my 2500 heavy duty. Disappointed in GM overal Very pleased with Tammy, Tim and the rest of the service staff. They had to rebuild the transmission in my 2500 heavy duty. Disappointed in GM overall, as this is the second rebuild and less than six months. Really think GM should have replaced the transmission; however, that wasn’t their decision. Star‘s service department is very good and they do very well at communicating with the customer. More
