HAWK soars above the rest!!!!!!!! Yesterday my wife and myself came to STAR with the hopes of purchasing a newer used vehicle. We were originally interested in a GMC Terrain but after Yesterday my wife and myself came to STAR with the hopes of purchasing a newer used vehicle. We were originally interested in a GMC Terrain but after a test drive, my felt that it was not the best fit for her. Even before the test drive, Adam had obtained the details and specifications as to what we were looking for. Without hesitation, he knew immediately where to direct us and it turns out, that the 2nd vehicle we looked at, is the one we drove off the lot that day. Unlike many other dealerships, where the salesperson is overbearing and pushy, Adam was the exact opposite. He took all the information he could get from us, gave us our best options to fit, and let us make the decisions without feeling pressured or uncomfortable in the process. This was by far the best experience we have had when purchasing a vehicle and it was the most comfortable. We are both very pleased with the service, as well as the vehicle that we purchased, a 2011 GMC Acadia Denali. Again, a big thanks to HAWK for all his help and guidance during the process. My SUV is a thing of beauty & the service was phenomenal I just took home a new 2015 GMC Terrain yesterday thanks in no small part to Adam Mihalko. I'm a recent college graduate who has been driving around I just took home a new 2015 GMC Terrain yesterday thanks in no small part to Adam Mihalko. I'm a recent college graduate who has been driving around the same car since the days I was practicing for my permit, and each year dealing with out of pocket expenses to repair major or minor parts from wear and tear on my old car. I have been looking to purchase or lease an S.U.V, for quite some time now, but due to student loan debt on my credit checks, and large student loan payments each month, purchasing/leasing has been out of my price budget. This was true when looking at a Jeep Dealership, a Ford Dealership, and several others in the local area that had only approved me to lease with monthly costs at almost $400 a month. And then there was Star Buick GMC and Adam Mihalko. To start, the first time my dad & I looked at the dealership the S.U.V. I was interested in (terrain) was only available in a 4 cylinder engine at the time (looking for 6). Within a few days from our initial visit, we received a personal phone call from Adam letting us know that the same Terrain was now available on the lot with a 6 cylinder engine and to stop by and look at it to see what we thought. I appreciated that he took the time to call back & that he listened to what we were interested in. Throughout the process of credit checks, paperwork, and information about leasing, Adam was always available to answer questions. He worked with the finance department (I apologize I don't know this gentleman's name) and was able to get myself approved with my dad as a cosigner for the 2015 Terrain at a monthly lease cost I could afford, almost $100 less a month than other local dealerships. At this point I signed to purchase & made a down payment, and Adam promised to check one last time for other alternatives with banks for monthly lease costs if the price could be lowered again. Well sure enough Adam helped me out again, and was able to take another $15 less off a month through a different lender, which any small amount helped! The last day at STAR before taking the Terrain home, Adam gave my dad & I a tour of the dealership (as the lease he set me up with has repair costs and oil changes covered for an introductory period) so I could feel comfortable I knew where I was going/what I was doing. Adam even sat down in the terrain and reviewed the remote car starter, the on-star, the navigation, sirius radio, and the bluetooth phone sync; as well as the driving features, door locks, heat/ac, etc. There were not salesman at any of the other dealerships that took the time to not only make sure I liked the car, but that I felt comfortable knowing how to use it. It was truly a pleasure, thanks so much Adam! The last person I wanted to mention (as this is quickly becoming a novel) is the sales manager Keith Muir. He took the time to come over and congratulate me on my new purchase and shake my hand. He asked us about our experience/ if we had any questions that weren't answered yet, and thanked us for our business. So many times no one even thinks to thank you for your business as a customer, not STAR. He also gave us a flyer and invited us back to use the service center, and also to attend one of the tech seminars they hold each month (to review anything about your car you can't figure out from the test drive or the owners manual) with one of the technicians in a class-like setting. This place was all around awesome, service was fantastic, and I look forward to the next oil change to stop by and see some friendly faces.
