Peter Reed !!!!!! I had made an appointment for a repair on an electrical issue because I changed one of my interior bulbs and it shorted something out. I made an appointment with another service advisor and when I got there at 8am was told they can't look at my car! This after I took a day off from work. I never received a phone call stating the technician was out sick (things happen). Rescheduled for the next day and take another day off from work and arrive at 8am - AGAIN TOLD THEY CAN'T LOOK AT MY CAR!!!! Again NO phone call. Totally unprofessional. I got angry at that point and the service advisor, who I won't name, told me its a problem I caused - as if to say I was out of luck cus I toyed with my car... That's like a doctor saying I cancelled your heart surgery, for what ever reason, and I shouldn't be upset because its my fault I ate a poor diet and have a heart problem - again unprofessional!!!!! So I go back following Monday and have my first experience with Peter Reed. Thinking I would be greeted horribly like the other times I wasn't excited to go. However, unlike other people that work here, Peter is as professional as they come. The other service advisor didn't even have me scheduled for that day EVEN AFTER I called few days prior to on firm and he said yes!!! Peter...working alone this day...saw things weren't right about this situation and to my car in immediately. The problem was a simple fuse that took no time to fix. While I was waiting I had some good conversation with Peter and I can say he takes his job to heart. So, if you go in for service ask for Peter.. Otherwise you will be treated like a piece of garbage. Peter is an asset to Hyundai of Stamford and gives world class attention, service, care and patience to his customers. More

He asked me detailed questions about the issues I was having with my car and made it clear that he was committed to fixing every problem - which they did. I have been to other Hyundai dealers and none provided service even close to the service I received from Peter and the Stamford Hyundai team. You feel so good after being treated like I was treated and it is a testament to their hiring practices and the way people are trained. They clearly know how to run a service business. I would recommend them to anyone. More
I recently moved to Stamford and was wishing that I could find the same quality service that I had in New York at my Hyundai dealer. Well not only did I find it, but it has exceeded my expectations. Both Vince Pampena and David Corpolongo have helped me service my Sonata various times now - and let me tell you I have never been disappointed. Everything is taken care for me; from the initial call to the service dept., to the appointment , the courtesy car, EVERYTHING. I know I drive them both nuts with questions, but they know me already and they always provide me with a thorough explanation of the repairs that will be made to my car. I just had the most remarkable experience with Peter Reed, the Assistant Service Manager at Stamford (CT) Hyundai. Somehow, as I was driving my 2013 Hyundai Elantra late yesterday afternoon, my $2,20 Reed, the Assistant Service Manager at Stamford (CT) Hyundai. Somehow, as I was driving my 2013 Hyundai Elantra late yesterday afternoon, my $2,200 right hearing aid fell out of my ear while I was driving, and unfortunately it fell between the driver’s seat and the hump traversing front to back. I called Peter to see if he could help. He told me to bring the car into the agency around 7 AM today. I figured that the driver’s seat would have to be removed to find the hearing aid. But I didn’t take into account that Peter knew exactly what to do, and it did not include removing the seat. It turns out that he had a couple of very thin (but long) metal rods, one of which has the ability to open wide enough to capture a small object like my hearing aid. It took him about two or three minutes to locate it and within seconds thereafter he manipulated grabbing it so it could be retrieved. The upshot is that I had the foresight to purchase my 2013 Elantra at Stamford Hyundai. I strongly recommend the dealership (and Peter) to anyone looking for a new Hyundai. Morley Kahn More
12 monts ago I was living in Atlanta and owned 3 Hyundai's (2011 Sonota Ltd, 2011 Elantra Ltd, 2012 Santa Fe Ltd). So to start with, I believe in the quality of the Hyundai product - and have never Hyundai's (2011 Sonota Ltd, 2011 Elantra Ltd, 2012 Santa Fe Ltd). So to start with, I believe in the quality of the Hyundai product - and have never been disappointed with my prior service. 6 months ago I moved to Maine and only retained the Santa Fe (AWD). I would have purchased a 4x4 Hyundai truck if there was one in your sales line; so I had to purchase another brand. Last weekend I was driving from Maine to Stamford, CT for the weekend and noticed that I obviously needed a wheel balancing on my Santa Fe (15k mileage). I called Stamford Hyundai on the road to see about getting an appointment the next day (Saturday). Vince Pampena took my info down and I saw him the next morning at 8:00. He fit me in with the wheel balancing (which included dislodging some mud that had packed itself rather tightly inside of one of one of my wheels and added to the balancing problem), oil / filter change, replacing a missing reservoir cap, the usual multi-point inspection and a wash. Vince had me out of there in a short period of time and back on the road. Thanks Vince! It's experiences like this one that continues to make me a "poster boy" for Hyundai! I realized this morning that it's about that time that my car need an oil change. I usually only get my oil change done at a Honda or Acura dealership but at the time I was in Stamford and the neares that my car need an oil change. I usually only get my oil change done at a Honda or Acura dealership but at the time I was in Stamford and the nearest Acura dealership would be in Westport. I didn't want to drive out that far just for an oil change. I searched around Stamford for a place that I can possibility get an oil change at. All I could find were these dirty shops with low ratings online. Then I drove by this Hyundai dealership and can't help but notice how clean this place looked. I also saw an RSX like mine parked on the side of the building. So I took a risk and brought my 02 Acura RSX to this Hyundai dealership hoping they would be able to service my car although my car wasn't Hyundai. I must say I'm very satisfied and glad I came in. I came in feeling a little shy at first because I was a customer that didn't own a Hyundai. Peter Reed is an awesome guy. He made me feel really comfortable. We even had little conversations about my car and come to find out he was a master mechanic for Acura before he came to Hyundai. At the end of my oil change my car was washed and ready to go. I'm very glad that I came here! I would highly recommend this place. I'm definitely going back here for my next oil change. More

Over the Thanksgiving holiday, I noticed that my windshield wiper arms were not functioning normally. I hadn't worried too much initially, but I noticed they were getting worse each morning when I d windshield wiper arms were not functioning normally. I hadn't worried too much initially, but I noticed they were getting worse each morning when I defrosted my windows. Then, we had a rainy day and the driver side wiper arm was not moving at all. Frankly, I panicked and made the first appointment I could with Stamford Hyundai. I work in Manhattan Monday - Friday, so I thought finding a few moments to stop by during regular business hours would be near to impossible. However, I had the pleasure of coordinating with Peter Reed who was more than accommodating to my schedule. He made time for me first thing the next day and ensured I was the first customer in line for the service I requested. I was maybe at Stamford Hyundai for no more than 10 minutes total before my vehicle was thoroughly inspected and repaired. It was a miracle! I am so grateful to Peter and team for all they did to ensure my safety on the road, especially during this winter weather. I'm relatively new to the Stamford community and so grateful to know that I am supported by such a wonderful dealership. More
