I saw an add on craigslist for this jeep patriot that they had online for, and i thought it looked like a great deal so i drove out to st. charles to look at this car. I got there and a salesman (james a they had online for, and i thought it looked like a great deal so i drove out to st. charles to look at this car. I got there and a salesman (james ayers) came out and talked to me and my boyfriend. He went and got the keys and we test drove this patriot...it was a piece of crap. Making weird noises with the engine, some lights were on, so i simply said okay lets keep looking...i want a jeep. So i saw this jeep loredo that was just what i was looking for so i asked him how much they were asking for it..he said he had to go look he came back with a list of cars and said they wanted 18,000 for this 2006 jeep loredo...i was floored, thought it was a little too much. Then we looked at another jeep loredo they had they were asking 16,000 for a 2005 jeep loredo that the passenger rear door was completely falling off i couldnt believe it! Then the sales manager comes out and talks to us i asked him how much he was asking for the 2006 blue loredo he said they were asking 20,000 for this car...but the sales guy just told me they were asking 18,000 I was confused, and thrown off a bit. I should have taken that as my sign and ran as fast as i could from that place. Instead I let them talk me into the 2007 trailblazer. They said they could work me a good deal..yeah yeah yeah. Well after they financed me and we signed the contract I get a call the next day they need all this financial paperwork..okay so i faxed it to them. I work two jobs and I work every single day of the week...this dealership called me at least 20 times a day..i cannot carry my cell phone on me at work, they called my work then asking for me..which was not cool at all...asking for more financial paperwork. okay fine. faxed it over. then i get a phone call from their finance lady norma saying my payments went up and if i didnt like it i could come get my car and they would happily take theirs back..i did not appreciate the way she treated me at all. So i called her on that following monday tellign her im tired of this and im coming to get my car back and she said thats fine. I get to the dealership and they tell me i cant take my car back..but theyre trying to raise my payments and get more money out of me after we already signed a contract!! It was ridiculous. after we got that all settled and they finally agreed to keep my payments the same and they apologized and promised me a free detailing and tank of gas...(im still waiting on my free detail)they called me all the next week asking for more financial stuff. This place is a joke!! the salesman (james) i worked with was a nice kid. the others there on the other hand...are just in it for the money, they didnt seem to care at all for the customers. I will never recommend this place to anyone or go there for another car again. More
By far the worst car purchasing experience of my life, and I have purchased a number of cars. 3 months ago we went during a promotion at 2:00 in the afternoon on a Thursday. They were very slow even wit and I have purchased a number of cars. 3 months ago we went during a promotion at 2:00 in the afternoon on a Thursday. They were very slow even with the promotion and most people (like us) were just interested in seeing if they were going to win. After speaking with the salesman Jon Fischer (who was very nice) we explained that we just wanted to know if we won because our son asked us to try. he understood, but the sales manager we dealt with decided to attempt to sell us the car. This is fine. I did end up purchasing the car for a decent deal, but this is where the trouble started. Even though they were slow, we were there from 2:00 - 8:30 trying to purchase the vehicle. Maybe an hour of that was actually picking out the right one, the rest of the time was simply sitting in a chair wondering what was going on. They said we were waiting for the finance paperwork to get prepared, but no one waits over 5 hours for this. After leaving the dealership, we realized that we left my I-pass in the car. Easy mistake since it's hidden behind the rear mirror. I called immediately when they opened the next morning at 8:30 to let them know this. Since we were leaving when the place closed and called when they opened, I didn't feel this would be a problem. My sales person wasn't there yet, so I spoke with another. he checked the car and said he couldn't find the i-pass and we must be mistaken. I explained that the ipass never moves and they were the only ones driving the car. Our sales person called back and said that he couldn't find it either and no one else was in the car. Now, I personally saw a sales manager, our sales guy and a porter drive my car, so I knew they were full of it. They continued to look. When I got a call later that day, they said they forgot to have me complete some paperwork and asked that I come back in when they open Saturday morning to complete the paperwork, get our key battery replaced and get $100 for the trouble and ipass replacement. I felt this was fair, so we went in. We spent over 2 more hours waiting for them to figure out all the paperwork and get the battery replaced. Most of this time was with the paperwork and about 30 mins for the battery. Then, we get a call again on Monday. Apparently, they forgot to have us sign the title because it was misplaced! Come on, how many times can you misplace this paperwork. the sales guy actually came to our house to have us sign that day. Tuesday, I get a call again. they wanted more information about our financials. I faxed the information over for the bank and asked why we hadn't received the $100 deposited in our account yet since we supplied them a voided check for this purpose. He didn't know why. I will add, that the sales guy paid us $100 out of pocket due the inconvenience, but nothing ever came from the dealer. Wednesday, I get a call from the sales guy telling me that they found the ipass and found out they gave it to another owner by mistake. It's been nearly a week and I canceled that unit and purchased another one, so I asked it to be destroyed. My wife gets a call the following Friday at work. She works for a retailer and you can imagine how bad this is to receive a call at work. She got in trouble and found that they called for more financial information. they claimed they called at our home, but we never received any messages. Very disorganized and wasted many hours resolving issues with them. Never would I recommend for anyone. More

I wanted a specific type of Jeep 4DR Jeep Wrangler and could not locate the one that I wanted in the Nashville, TN area where I currently reside. I found this dealership on the locator in Jeep’s website and contacted them to see if they had the vehicle that I wanted. They told me that if they didn’t have it, they would get it… and they did! I drove to Chicago this past weekend to take delivery of my new Jeep. I traded in my 2010 Ford F150 pickup and they gave me a very fair price for that vehicle; as well, they sold me the new Jeep at a price that was extremely competitive! My experience at this dealership was better than expected. The entire staff was friendly and the General Mgr of the dealership, Chris Pozek, was very personable and welcomed me very warmly. He made sure that my entire buying experience was one to remember and a very positive one. I am extremely happy that I made the decision to purchase my new vehicle from this dealership and would highly recommend this dealership to anyone. I want to thank Chris Pozek for making my new vehicle purchase experience one to remember. Thank You !!!! Chuck Simpson Brentwood, TN More
This is a great place to buy a car. I hate speaking to sales people, especially at dealerships, but I was surprised everyone is nice and friendly. We have bought 2 cars from there. Everyone took their time to explain the current sales programs, equipment/ warranty options, trade in value of my old truck / SUV and finance options. The staff made me feel at home and comfortable with my purchases. The customer service was outstanding. I purchased a 2011 Dodge Ram and 2011 Grand Cherokee. I would not hesitate to recomend this dealer to anybody looking for a new car. This dealer and the staff deserves top rating for customer service. The inventory was also a plus, we did not have to wait for the Grand Cherokee or truck, the models we desired were on the lot. More
On Thursday I set out to purchase a new Jeep. After being given the run around at several other dealerships, a friend suggested Piemonte Jeep in St Charles so I took a ride over. While at the dealership, given the run around at several other dealerships, a friend suggested Piemonte Jeep in St Charles so I took a ride over. While at the dealership, I was treated GREAT! Shaunta & Chris went out of their way to make me feel comfortable! Rather than pushing me into a vehicle, they explained and educated me on my potential purchase. Shaunta & Chris even went as far as to tell me they understood I was a large purchase and that I should make sure to think my decision out. Sleazy - Not at all! Awesome Experience - Absolutely! I did not buy a car Thursday night, but did go back Friday for another test-drive and make my purchase on Saturday. If you are looking to make a purchase, I recommend Piemonte Jeep in St Charles! Thanks Shaunta & Chris "The Dream Maker"! I love my new Inferno Red 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited! More
DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE. Everyone jokes about the sleazy, cheating car salesmen, but this place is full of them. There is just too much bad stuff to say about this place to fit in one review. Actuall sleazy, cheating car salesmen, but this place is full of them. There is just too much bad stuff to say about this place to fit in one review. Actually if your not looking to buy a car and just need a good laugh, go in and ask for a test drive. The salesmen will keep you entertained for hours. Also, don't be alarmed when the salesmen chases you out the door asking what he did wrong? haha. More
When someone comes in to test drive, let them test drive. Typical salesman stereotype. When a customer says no, they say no. No reason to beat around the bush. Too pushy and all about selling the car. Salesm Typical salesman stereotype. When a customer says no, they say no. No reason to beat around the bush. Too pushy and all about selling the car. Salesmen contradicted themselves. "I don't like selling new cars" then "You should by a new car because you won't have the left overs from someone else." Make up your mind. Salesmen- know the cars that are available.. don't guess on a car price if it is WAY off. Telling me a car is $7,000 is way different than a $15,000 car. DO NOT tell the customer that you would not pay the value of the car because there are many like them. DO NOT say that you do not want to buy my car for what it's worth because you can buy it cheaper elsewhere, if it's worth $6000 then give $6000! Worst experience ever. I am VERY disappointed in this place. Bettenhausen Dodge is phenomenal compared to this place. I will be buying all my future cars from them after this experience just because of the correct approach to selling. If you disagree, I didn't buy anything from you now did I? More
This is the WORST dealership to deal with. DON'T go here to buy your car or van. I purchased a car here and after the purchase, they gave me a run around. Malcolm Thurman is the sleaziest sales man. WARRANTY SCAM - BUYER BEWARE: Purchased a used 2004 Cadillac Escalade from Al Pimonte Cadillac in St. Charles January 2008. The manufacturer bumper to bumper warranty was set to expire in April 2008 an Cadillac Escalade from Al Pimonte Cadillac in St. Charles January 2008. The manufacturer bumper to bumper warranty was set to expire in April 2008 and I was given an option to purchase an extended warranty that would start after the manufacturer warranty expired. I was told I could cash-out the warranty at a prorated value if I sold the vehicle. I went to my bank to pick up a check for the vehicle cost and decided to do the extended warranty as well, so I had an additional check cut for the warranty in the amount of $2018.18. Went to the dealer told them I decided to go with the warranty, the finance manager ripped up my original paperwork and drew up new paperwork that included the warranty cost. I didn't receive any warranty documents at that time so I asked if I would receive warranty information or cards in the mail and was told yes. With gas prices soaring I sold the vehicle in June 2008. I contacted dealer for refund of unused portion of my warranty. I submitted via fax the documents the dealer requested but received no refund. After a month or so and four phone calls I was finally told that I didn't purchase an "Extended Warranty" as I was told but the $2018.18 I paid in addition to the vehicle total cost was just MY COST to "CERTIFY THE VEHICLE" and that I would not be receiving ANY refund. I was even told I was not the only customer this recently happened to and he confused me with someone else and that is why I didn't receive a call back... I asked for the dealership manager and received a phone call from a man who claimed to be one of the owners. He yelled and screamed at me, said all the paperwork in my file said the vehicle was CERTIFIED and that I paid only to "CERTIFY THE VEHICLE". He said the two year extended warranty I thought I was purchasing would have been thousands more than what I paid. I contacted GM directly who said dealer pays NOTHING to certify a vehicle, that it is a courtesy GM gives the dealer upon dealer inspection of a used vehicle to help them sell it, the GM rep said he made a report of the incident. Al Piemonte completely mislead me, I purchased NOTHING additional, received nothing additional for the $2018.18 additional I paid, they simply pocketed the additional money! More
