I was victim of a fraud in the Square One Auto dealership I arrived at 2pm in the Square One Auto to buy a car, I was with my 3 year old daughter and two friends. We spend several hours waiting for “bank appr I arrived at 2pm in the Square One Auto to buy a car, I was with my 3 year old daughter and two friends. We spend several hours waiting for “bank approval” and “paperwork.” The paperwork was finally ready at 9:30pm for me to sign. It was after a long day without eating, and my daughter was very cranky because she was hungry and tired. The owner of this place, Lee Morant, knew it was my first experience buying a car in a dealership, so he decided to take advantage of it. He held us so many hours to manipulate me easily. He fooled me about the car I bought, Honda CRV, saying that the car never had an accident before. He gave me all the paperwork to sign to sign saying “no accidents.” He realized I didn’t understand about the paperwork and he manipulated my mind, and even made me to sign all the pages of the carfax (which I had no idea what it was). When I went home, I realized I signed something saying “previous accident disclosure.” So I went back the next business day asking about it, and he gave me a carfax copy, I asked to change the car and he did not accept it. In fact, he stated that I signed the contract and the carfax pages, and for this reason I had to keep the car. I wanted to return the car because I was fooled, and the only way I could find to get out of that contract was loosing my down payment of $1,500.00. He gave me a cancelation letter, and he took the folder from my hands with all the paperwork that I signed saying I couldn’t keep them anymore because the agreement was canceled. More
