I complained to Britany and she got someone to start working the car. I am not happy.. My next car will be a Tesla so that I can avoid all this gas/oil/lube service bullbleep. False figures of gas consumption. Poor, misleading service. Bought Avalon Hybrid in June mainly because they claimed gas consumption of ~40miles/gallon. Over several months it averaged ~35miles/gallon only. Was Bought Avalon Hybrid in June mainly because they claimed gas consumption of ~40miles/gallon. Over several months it averaged ~35miles/gallon only. Was contacted for service at 4 months, which should have been 6 months. Car had done 185miles when bought new, and had 2 addresses in memory; and had slight damage at edge of boot. At finance they got my name misspelled with bank, which tools a lot of hassle to correct! Service manager was nice & cooperative. A Jeff of service dept advised car be brought in (55 miles away) on a Tuesday for bodywork man to repair nick. That was fiasco: nick was not repaired because Jeff claimed there was rust! Wasted journey! Manager showed willingness to address grievance and, again, I took car to mobile from MS, and he lent me a replacement car. 2 days later manager told me he would put a drop of paint at nick in bodywork! So 3 trips utterly wasted! And question are: why did service call come 2 months early; why did the bodywork expert see rust that no one else saw? Why did they not put a drop of paint on first visit to save me 2 extra journeys? I am very disappointed with falsification of gas consumption; and extremely disappointed in the misleading, thoughtless and sneaky practices of the Springhill Toyota. More
