AND DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP!!! Brought in a 2022 Acura MDX A-Spec I just bought recently to this dealership because the speakers stopped working out of the blue. The car has about 31k miles on it and everything was working fine until the speakers stopped working. It turns out that recent MDX models are prone to clogged drains on the roof regardless of how well the car is maintained and even if the owner isn’t negligent in any way with car. Considering this, whatever needs to be done to fix this should be covered under warranty, which A LOT of owners in different MDX forums have stated it is. It depends on the dealership. My service rep Tara R. told me they ran a diagnostic check on the car and NEVER took it apart to see what caused the drain, and that this is common on the MDX models regardless of the mileage. When Acura corp. called the dealership to follow up on the diagnostic's the dealership did, they informed me the dealership told them that leaves caused the clog which in that case isn’t covered under warranty. The dealership told me one thing, and Acura corp. another because I guess they’re trying to get me to pay $7500 for a car that was just purchased. BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP!!! YOU’VE BEEN WARNED. I took my car to the Springfield Acura rout 22 dealership for a black screen on the infotainment system and an oil change. When I went there, they told me they will have to do a diagnostic for $159.00 and le for a black screen on the infotainment system and an oil change. When I went there, they told me they will have to do a diagnostic for $159.00 and let me know what is wrong. After about 3 hours the service rep came and got me and told me that the car was fixed. He said they did a hard reset, and the black screen went away and it’s $285. They never asked me if I wanted to do a hard reset, and I did not sign any paperwork for the work. I paid the money and left. Next morning, I got into the car and started it, and the screen was black again. When I called them to let them know, they told me I will have to replace the system and it cost $3,531.00. I asked them what I paid $285.00 for, and they told me it’s for the work that was done. The receipt showed Labor $215.00 Parts $29.00 shop supplies $3:48 Plus taxes. It also showed a windshield washer top off - that was a big LIE. Reason being, I did not want them to put their washer fluid because I had bought 2 bottles of Costco rain X that I topped off before going there. I did not use it on the drive there, so there was no room to top off. I am now concern that the oil change may be the same as the washer top off. After paying $285.00 I turned off the car, turned it back on and the hard reset they claim to have done did not work and when I called them they said the $285.00 will go towards replacing the infotainment unit. Have been bringing my ‘19 MDX here for routine. Servicing , brakes etc.. My last service appt was simple- oil change and tire rotation. Get my car and go…all service done. Stop to gas up a few miles away and I notice that the tires were never rotated and the oil filter looks old but wiped clean. I call the service dept immediately but they are closed. Phone call after phone call over the following week goes in returned until I finally get in touch with Joshua who promises to request my refund and get back to me. Joshua never calls back and phone calls to other reps and managers get voicemail but no responses. Finally I dispute the charge with my credit card and bingo I get an immediate call back. Unprofessional, dishonest, and not trustworthy. More

I made an appointment to have my tires balance and to purchase another fob since I was told my current one was going. Anthony told me they couldn't get both fobs programmed together I doesn't it matter t purchase another fob since I was told my current one was going. After my truck wouldn't work I took it back and they said it was my tpms unit. I took it to my dealership due to extended warranty and Springfield Acura sold me a car fob for a truck! I went back and Steven give me a hard time and said I needed to get the other fob first I said that's 40 minutes away this is not my fault I will bring the other one back! Steven never apologized for the mistake and was very arrogant! I drive to take the new fob to the dealership and get the wrong one, I came back and asked what about the programming fee can it be credited to my account for next time Steven quickly said no he not going to return the fee we programmed it, I said yes to a car key fob not a truck! Now they are going to charge me to reprogram the fob again. Steven said it should be free, I said why should it be free? Steven said because its under warranty I said so the mistake you made it should be cover under warranty for them to fix? I then gave him the other key fob back and he said I need the bag too! I said the bag my correct key fob came in he said yes I need to put this back in inventory. I said I can't give you the bag to the new key fob you gave me it has the information on it incase something is wrong with it! He said keep the bag and just go! As I was walking out the door, I double back and said excuse me Steven said just go your NOT WELCOMED HERE ANYMORE!!! I said wow I'm not welcome back because you made a mistake and give me a car key fob instead of a truck key fob!! Unbelievable I said Steven had horrible customer service and need to be retrained!! I work in the hospital with all of this stress right now and shouldn't have to worry about small things like this and getting kicked out because a mistake that was made on the dealers part!!! Service and service manager - AVOID!!!! Brought car for regular service- told service advisor car shakes when I hit 40 Mph. Service advisor said car needs wheel bearings in front - test drive said screeching noise. I said shaking was the issue.Bill said " tire rotation was done and road test vehicle was ok". Problem was diagnosed as need wheel bearings - this is big job and need to bring car in next day. Leave dealership to route 22 - hit 40 MPH and YES car still shakes. Either TECH LIED or didn't take car for ride - remember " road test vehicle was ok". My conversation/complaint with service manager Ms Kaba ( by the way I had to wait for them to find her- paging and asking employees to look for her). When I told her of fraud/lie about test drive - she said " they don't always test on route 22" so where is test in parking lot to get to 40 MPH? Seriously? Bill #1 - $171.70. The 2nd visit - call from service advisor " car needs front axels" I asked about wheel bearings tech estimate 1k, tech said more important for front axels about 1k. will get next day. It I must pay for axels in advance $888.00 just parts another 487.39 labor. Another loaner car - day 3 visit bill of $487. Said customer requested 4 wheel alignment - I didn't - but it was "necessary". They do work on axels and GUESS WHAT ? No shaking - it was axels NOT bearings. This was three days and $1547.09!!! There was a very nice lady at payment window who tried to reach And locate Ms Kaba since I was frustrated and upset. Ms Kaba was Nasty and pointed her glasses at me, saying she "couldn't talk to me because I wouldn't listen to her". Told her I would report to Better Business Bureau and she said " Go ahead- we aren't a member" Vincent - service advisor tried... Not his fault...it was a lying TECH!! And Nasty MS Kaba . Long time customer 3 cars MDX! And two RDX- plus always serviced there- WILL NEVER RETURN. By the way I am a female customer - hmmm wonder if I was a guy if they would have tried this! More

They don't seem to communicate with each other within the service department. First problem was when I tried to make an appointment with my 2009 TL. I made an appointment for a specific day and I get an email for a different appointment. So I c all back and speak to someone and they apologize and make my appointment again. Again, I get another email with a different date. I call them again and now I get someone completely different saying there is no appointment available that day and she doesn't understand how I could be scheduled that day. I ask to speak to a manager and the girl hangs up on me. To make a long story shorter. This continues to happen on my TL. Fast forward 6 months and SAME problem with my MDX trying to schedule an appointment. If I could I would give them a negative star. I hope they close down or get a new service department manager because whoever is running it must be incompetent. More
