I already knew I liked the outback because I drove my mom's and felt really safe she with baby #1 on the way that's our main concern. My husband has a lease with Honda and I used to have also a Honda (owned). We weren't set on Subaru because we wanted to know what else is out there (specially at Honda due to our long relationship with them). With all the added expenses coming our way we were set on a fixed number. We know it's always a negotiation but frankly we don't like that, we came in and tested the Outback and Legacy for my husband with Julio and started to talk to Miguel. From the beginning we told him exactly what we wanted to pay and told him we don't want to waste anyone's time going back and forth and he immediately told us he'll do his best and came up with a really good offer on the cars we were trading in and the ones we wanted to lease. We still thought it would be responsible to check out Honda so we thanked him and continue our shopping trip... At Honda we came in with the same speech, explained everything we needed and they told us it was going to be easy peasy. They tried to trick us into signing documents stating we would close a deal that same day without even making an offer. We didn't signed. They came in with an awful offer on the cars we were trading in and an even more ridiculous one on the ones we would get (CR-V and Accord). We told them what Subaru was offering us and that between the Outback and the CR-V I would only take the CR-V if the offer was really really good because frankly the outback is way better. They made us go back and forth for around 2 hours...I'm 7 months pregnant, I was very uncomfortable. They kept coming up with numbers that wouldn't work for us and kept saying they'll make it work. So we said it was too bad we couldn't agree on a number and thanked them for their time and left. They chased us to the door with a number $150 lower than before. It was actually a really good offer but we were so frustrated they made us waste our time like that, that we declined it. The next day we went to Subaru and closed the deal. They really made our experience easy peasy. Miguel and Salem were very helpful and we even got 2 years of free oil change without even asking for it. I know some people love to haggle and do the price dance but we appreciate when people are as straightforward as we are. So thank you Subaru! More

Destroyed my Transmission I had my Impreza into this dealership a few month's ago for a transmission noise! I was told it was a common issue with the transmission and it would I had my Impreza into this dealership a few month's ago for a transmission noise! I was told it was a common issue with the transmission and it would be a easy fix. After having the car for several weeks I picked my car up and heard a noise immediately! Went back and Dave the technician who worked on it said it had to break in! I drove it to Disney and the noise was so bad I could not hear my radio! I went back and they said they would fix it!!!! That leads me to today, Where my transmission started making noise again! I told the dealer where my car is now! And they are telling me I have to pay for the repairs because the transmission is not the original one! I showed them the receipt for the work that was done under warranty! They said if I didn't install this transmission in my car the the dealer most of messed the transmission up so bad that they just put a used transmission in it! I don't know why they would od done that because my car was still under the factory warranty! And now that I am stationed in Texas I can't take my car back to have it repaired by them! But I don't think I would ever let them work on it anyway! This dealer is trying to help me out! Subaru is a very good car! Just stay away from this dealership! More

The Right Approach! What I liked about the dealership: Six people did not descend on us at once; we would have left. You had the car I selected over the internet. Wes was the best car salesman we have ever had in our 51 years of buying a car. Wes spent almost 2 hours with us answering all of my questions. Wes did not bring other people over to convince us to get the car. We studied the information in Consumer Report about the Forrester. Wes' information did not contradict what we had studied even when I shared a concern about the rating for the ride and noise. We felt that Wes went above and beyond our expectations. He understood not only what I wanted, but how I drive! It was really a positive experience. More
