Matt and Joy could not have been more helpful. There were always prompt answers to our questions, and they put no pressure on us either to buy our car or our service extension. When we came back with more questions, both were helpful and patient. The trailer hitch that we requested was available and installed two days after we took possession of the car. During the installation, we were provided with a car. We bought from the nearer-to-us Subaru dealer the 2010 Outback that we traded-in to National Subaru. We were so unhappy with the treatment we received from that other people during that purchase that we did not even consider returning to them this time even though they are closer to our home. One example, and not the most important one: we traded in to them a Chrysler Town and Country. By the time all aspects of that sale in 2010 had been completed, it was late and dark. We are old and had been through a trying buying experience. Exhausted, we forgot to transfer our possessions left in the Chrysler to the Outback, and they did not suggest that we do so and made no effort themselves. We never recovered any of the tools and other items. In stark contrast, Matt made sure that we went away in the new Outback with all of our possessions in the 2010 Outback. And I received today from him in the mail our trailer registration card that he found in the old car after we had left. Many thanks to Matt and Joy and National Subaru. More
I had visited the sales lot looking for a particular vehicle, But didn't see one that I wanted. This was my first Subaru and Mr Brady offered to locate one in the color and interior that I wanted. He was straight up and said there were additional costs involved to get the vehicle I wanted and It would be easier for me to find something on the lot closer to what I wanted. I did find and test drove a upgraded subaru which had all the options my wife wanted, and was well within my budget. I drove the subaru home and have been very satisfied with its look and performance. Mr Brady and the whole sales team were exceptionally professional and extremely knowledgable about the products they sell and I highly recommend National Subaru...Especially with the free oil for life... I've never been a big fan of car salesmen since a bad experience years ago. BUT, I have to say my husband and I had a great experience and Randy was the reason. Having done a lot of research, I knew ex experience years ago. BUT, I have to say my husband and I had a great experience and Randy was the reason. Having done a lot of research, I knew exactly what I wanted. When we got there Randy showed us some cars. Randy knew we had a tee time that we had to make and got us in, test drove the perfect car, did a little paperwork and even gave us easy directions to the golf course. He told me to call when we were finished playing and I did. Randy said 'come back to the office so you can drive home in your new car'. We got there, finished the paperwork (didn't take long) and drove home in our new VW. We are very happy with our Passat and expect to get great gas mileage. Randy made the whole process a good one and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and National to anyone. Thanks Randy! More

Overall I had a good experience but had to return with vehicle to have safety inspection. Also, there was an issue with the bank payment. I owed the dealership $195. I was sent to the main office in Volkswagen to make the payment. When I arrived, the lady that took my payment (Vicki) was very upset that no one called her to let her know I was coming. I have had many bad experiences and this is the 3rd vehicle I have bought from National. When buying a vehicle in the future, I will more than likely go to Wilmington or New Bern to make my purchase. Pat Brady was an excellent salesperson. He was well versed in vehicle specs and courteous. By far the best salesman we have had the pleasure to deal with. This is our first Volkswagen after having 8 T versed in vehicle specs and courteous. By far the best salesman we have had the pleasure to deal with.
