Haby Ly and Sport Chevy are the best I researched a new 2019 Chevy Bolt. I called Haby. He quoted me a very, very good price ($32Kish). I thought it was all a big trick to get you into the dealership where they would play the standard dealer games. So, I continued shopping. I got lots of prices for the same car (that's pretty amazing to me, but I digress), same configuration. I told one dealer (Waldorf, MD) about the price, and showed him the Sport Chevy Link, and he responded that the Sport offer was based on me meeting a few prerequisites, like being in the military, etc...He didn't think their price was really that price. I agreed with him. So, I kept shopping. Finally, a Wednesday night, Haby contacted me and I asked him if that was the price, and could we get the deal done on the phone that same night. To my surprise, Haby agreed and we did pretty much everything over the phone. I asked if anything would be different when I came in, he said absolutely no. So I went in, and to my surprise, the $32K price was the actual price + tax, freight, and tags. They removed the Dealer Processing fee, since I'm not sure why anyone pays that...They gave me a great price, there was no haggling. Pretty much the offer over the phone was exactly what I received at the dealer, and I was in an out in about 40 minutes. I would buy from them again, and highly recommend this dealership. Mark More
Loud brakes I recently bought a 2015 GMC Sierra. It had a few minor problems. I had issues with the radio, the front brakes were extremely loud and a fuel injecto I recently bought a 2015 GMC Sierra. Very friendly guy.Told him I would wait for the car. I expected a wait of at least three or four hours. But my car was ready in about 2 and a half hours I was surprised and very pleased with the fast service. More
Check engine light came on and car shook when I braked. When I made the appointment I asked if I dropped the car off the night before, would my car be looked at first thing the next morning and I was assur When I made the appointment I asked if I dropped the car off the night before, would my car be looked at first thing the next morning and I was assured that, yes, it would. WRONG! Around 2:00pm I was called with a diagnosis. Note: This is the 2nd time they have done this, which resulting in them having to keep my car an additional day. When I protested, I was told that they would arrange for a rental. I appreciate that gesture, since they told me that my vehicle wouldn't be ready until around 2:30 the next day. However, miracles do happen, because miraculously, the lenghty list of things that need to be done to my vehicle disappeared and they even washed my car. Note; this was after I told them what a wonderful job Jerry's Chevrolet does and they always wash your car. Unfortunately, they ripped the rubber off my rear wiper blades in the process. When I called to inquire as to why my oil wasn't changed, Ms. Jackie Pressman said, you didn't ask for it to be changed. I said I didn't ask for the transmission fluid to be changed or the coolant system to be flushed, but you did it. And you told me that all the fluids were changed. First I was told that I needed all 4 brake pads changed, but then another miracle, I only needed the front ones done, however, the cost only changed by approximately $30. To add insult to injury, Ms. Jackie Pressman basically called me a liar, repeatedly talked over me and continued to do so after I told her that she was being rude and since I was the customer, she should let me speak first and then told me that she was going to hang up on me; to which I said, no you won't because I'm hanging up first. All of this occurred after they got my $986.70, of which $733.91 was for labor. And she had the audacity to tell me that she was the most honest person I will ever meet. I should have done my research first... they have 8 BBB complaints so far for this year. They are about to have #9. More
This dealership is the worst I have ever dealt with. I had to take my car back multiple times to get the service work performed properly. They took my tires off (when the service on the engine did **not** require this) and they screwed them up when they put them back on. The next day after leaving, I get the "Service Tire Pressure Monitor" light. This would have not have occurred if they left my tires alone! After fixing the Tire Pressure Monitor, they returned the car without one of the air caps on the front right tire. I then had to ask the Service Manager for the air cap back! The Service Manager was quite rude to me. Also, they screwed up my antifreeze coolant by putting the wrong type of antifreeze in. I had to go elsewhere to get if fixed. Don't go here for anything! Went to this dealership to have an O2 sensor replaced on my 2011 Camaro which was throwing a code which clearly showed it was the O2 sensor. Dealer declined to replace my sensor stating they they diagnosed the car and could not figure out what it was. When they went to show me my car and explain the situation they didnt even know which car was mine and brought me to a totally different car trying to explain my catalytic converters were bad (my car doesnt have any due to aftermarket exahust) I have been driving this car with same setup of items for 2 years with no issues. Problem was simple it needed a new O2 sensor. I went ahead and bought my own and dealership swore they would pay me back and they still havent 4 months later and multiple phone calls. More
I live in Bowie and own a Saturn. Chevrolet, as you know, now services Saturns. My car needed spark plugs replaced, AC checked, and wheels rotated. So naturally I went to the Chevrolet in Bowie. I w know, now services Saturns. My car needed spark plugs replaced, AC checked, and wheels rotated. So naturally I went to the Chevrolet in Bowie. I was quoted a price of over $2,150.00 to fix my car that had a leak in backside of AC compressor and something about pressure possible in switch. Now this is not what I was expecting!! My AC was working fine--just not cold enough. I thought it would need a shot of freon. I asked for the car back and did pay for the rotation of the tires and the inspection. I wanted to stay with Chevrolet so I looked in in another location. Sport Chevrolet was recommeded and off I went with my "broken" car. I want to thank Sport Chevrolet for the honest inspection of my vehicle. There was no leaking dye from the compressor and the pressure was fine!! I walked out of there for under $200!!!! There is a BIG difference amongst the dealerships and I am very glad I recognized this early. I'll be back again! Thank you. L. E. More
